^ I personally don't dig it, but... 3 jerseys a season that change every year? In keeping with my "mix it up" philosophy - why not? I'm all about the variety.
1. Cavalry - deep team with something to prove
2. Ottawa - May start slow but when they gel they look like they’ll be a juggernaut
Gap to the rest
3. Forge - they just know how to win
4. Vancouver - I really like the off-season they had
5. Pacific - lost so many key players
6. York - I think 4-7 will be a dogfight for the last playoff spots
7. HFX - could finish anywhere in 4-7 and wouldn’t be surprised
8. Valour - would be shocked if they don’t finish 8th
Cavs specific
Warchiewski scores 16+ league goals (league record for a season is 13)
Barrett plays at least 8 games in net
Gutierrez will be thought of as the signing of the season
I was thinking Cavalry will beat an MLS team this year and could see it happening but the Whitecaps are now turning into a top MLS team. But beat Vancouver FC and see what happens after that.
Cavs win the playoffs. They finally get it over the line thanks to some of the new additions
1. Cavalry
2. Ottawa
3. HFX Wanderers
4. Forge
5. Vancouver
6. Pacific
7. York United
8. Valour
As is tradition, Cavalry lose to Forge in the finals.
I think Barrett gets a run of games in goal mid season after some Carducci struggles. Akio is Cavalry's leading scorer. Cavalry sell Kobza mid season while Klomp leaves in the offseason on a free. 2-3 random Foothills players sign Dev contracts and make their CPL debut. Cavalry defeat Vancouver but lose to Whitecaps in the Canadian Championship.

My predictions:
, beers cost $17,
parking gets a lot easier,
tail gating gets cracked down on half way through the season.
Someone gets hit really hard with a ball behind the net and netting gets put up.
I lose my voice during the first forge match and get a warning for calling them a bunch of ####s.
The games are more fun than ever.

Talked with some of the players yesterday; they're stoked for this season, they want to get back into Champions Cup ASAP (the real prize), and they think Warchiewski and Gutierrez are going to be the two to watch this year. Mentioned soccer popularity is reaching a new level in YYC, and it's fun to be a part of.
According to Blue Bombers financial statements, Valour lost $1.25 million last year. They are continuing to insist that they get 5000 people to a game, which is interesting given that they continue to put out a terrible squad year over year.
I like Tommy, and he deserves his extension. Although he can't quite seem to win the big one, we have been pretty fortunate to have a perennial contender in Cavalry, and he's a big part of that.
From these next 3 years, I think that we'll get at least 1 championship. Or maybe that's the pre-season excitement talking. But seriously, let's just win one and get the monkey off of the club's back.

Well I’m still in the camp that supports Tommy. I feel like he’s been fantastic for the club, and he’s done an amazing job with recruitment and development. Let’s not kid ourselves; the point of the CPL is to develop players and move them toward bigger and better things. To me, Cavalry has been the class of the league in that respect.
I'm onboard with more Tommy. I mean we were in the finals and lost by one goal. We one the season last year, and that's about as close as you can get without winning the big one (yet). He seems motivated and builds an exciting team to watch.
