Griselda is fairly entertaining. Although they continuously make it a thing of pointing out how attractive the main character is. I wonder if that was written into Sofia Vergara's contract?
Must be, maybe. In real life Griselda was no beauty, by my eye
Lol. I was looking at these exact pictures earlier. Vergara must have been upset at being cast as a not so attractive women, so they have to reaffirm how attractive she is every 5 minutes. Every other character wants to or is sleeping with her and they continuously talk about her "tits and ass". They wrote in multiple scenes, that are in no way essential to the plot, of competing drug dealers telling her how much they want to sleep with her, and there's no way that happened to the real life Griselda. It's really odd.

If anything, Griselda probably had a requirement in her contract to sell the story that she be played by someone like Sofia Vergara lol.
Just watched the 3 part documentary American Nightmare. Pretty gripping.
“After a harrowing home invasion and kidnapping in 2015, a couple is accused of staging the ordeal when the woman reappears, haunting the couple with a new series of tortures.”
Spoiler!
WTF to the investigators with the Vallejo police department and the FBI?!
I watched this when it came out- not sure if it's just me but
Spoiler!
After the first episode, I was like for sure this was an inside job, by the girl mostly. Maybe it was because she wasn't in the first episode and everyone talked about her like she wasn't there, but I would have bet the farm she made it all up

I guess a somewhat plausible reason would be that the real-life Griselda, being a psychopath and ready to kill at the drop of that, demanded it from people around her and they complied to, you know, not be killed.
So, I couldn't ignore the Physical : 100 trailer anymore and finally hit play last night. Then I watched two too many episodes and stayed up way later than planned. What can I say, I am really enjoying it.

I can only imagine that the inevitable US remake will be full of trash talking macho bull####.

Season 2 started!
Maybe a US version would suck but a Canadian version would be cool and polite! Think of all the great people they could get! Think Jarome could still do it?

Is it all new contestants or some repeats from Season 1?
The games are similar but designed to be more balanced I think. They tend to focus on all-rounder ability rather than just strengths. The teamwork games are more strategy-based. The editing is also more even, not so star-studded.

I still enjoyed Physical 100, but same criticism I had even in season 1. They should have a men's version and a women's version. I feel bad for the women who participate, because there really is no chance for them to win. So even if they are super fit end elite in their field, they still won't have any chance.

Maybe they're just ahead of the curve.
If we're moving towards non gendered sports anyway, cis gendered women better get used to losing.
We just finished Physical 100 S1 and I need to know.... DID THEY FIX THE EDITING? I'm not sure I've ever seen a show that I simultaneously enjoyed and hated at the same time. It felt like every episode built to a climax, rolled credits, and then stumbled into the resolution in the first 10 minutes of the next episode.

Nope, that's how most Asian shows are.
