You missed the point. Hyper partisanship is clouding people's brains and preventing them from making money. Not sure how much more clear I can be. If over the years I went with the current political group think I would have become convinced that Tesla was going bankrupt. Rinse and repeat every single year. Many people 100% bought into this and liquidated their investments because the experts told them to.
The same thing is happening with Twitter. Elon has zero idea what he's doing the company is being driven into the ground. Will go bankrupt. The exact opposite is playing out, exactly like it did with Tesla. Are you not really seeing the big picture here? Take the above and apply the same emotional, partisan mindset to politics this is where this thread is and society in general.

Jesus, dude. You’re sounding unhinged. That extra time on Twitter is having a negative effect on your mental health.

Musk himself has said they were hours from going bankrupt. So it's not some out there idea that people were warned about the risks. You were fortunate that it went the right way, but it doesn't make you some genius or that your views on the future will repeat the past. You got fortunate, that's it. Turn your hubris meter down a touch.

I’m happy to have a 1 on 1 discussion in this thread. You don’t have to respond to other people stopping in for drive bys if you don’t want to. Besides, you didn’t mind engaging here before I started asking you questions you appear to not want to answer for whatever reason.

Even the people who disagree with or downright despise the things I post the most would probably agree that afraid of debate or discussion isn’t a very accurate way to describe me. I’d just prefer for people to see the discussion because they might learn something, you’re obviously far more knowledgeable than I so what do you have to lose? You’re going to be writing it anyways regardless of if it’s private or in this thread so I’m more than happy to serve up a golden opportunity for you to make me look like I don’t know what im talking about.

Do you mean the posts before before or after you had a public meltdown and went into hiding? Ok, that’s just low hanging fruit but yes I’ve read some of your posts in that thread, don’t really know how it’s relevant to why you’re refusing to answer the questions I’ve posed to you here though.

We can agree on that. That’s why I want to understand why you think breaking the law is ok, I don’t agree with that assessment but maybe you’ll convince me that I’m wrong with your self described superior knowledge.

I’ll be sure to let the next Tesla employee I run into know that a shareholder told me that hyper partisanship is preventing them from making more money rather than things like their employer breaking the law to prevent them for exercising their rights to try and increase their earnings.

Credit where it’s due, you’re going on an impressive tangent here to avoid answering a simple question. The beautiful irony is that you’re using the excuse that answering would be out of the scope of this thread while rambling on about things that have absolutely nothing to do with Canadian politics. Well done.

Please don’t deter him from posting, I’m desperately trying to get him to answer a few very simple straightforward questions.
Is he really Jesus though? That would be an interesting turn of events.

Look...I think that all of us, regardless of Political leanings, can at least agree that the CBC's most egregious transgression at the moment is the continued employment of Ron MacLean.

That's a great list but you forgot when Zamler was waiting in the weeds, watching every game thread, waiting for someone, anyone, to mention his name for him to return. "where's Zamler"
" I'm HERE!"

Up until these last page of posts I was most concerned about the people were trying to claim the 69% government funding label was funny.
But a classic unhinged Zamler Elon bootlicking session is always a treat

I actually don’t know if we are left of Center. I think we are far to the left of the conservatives so the Liberals moved left to protect the flank of the next most competitive party. The liberals of Chrétien and Martin and the Ignatieff liberals were all Center right versions.
So Canada as a large group of voters that would be comfortable voting for the Center right version and Center left version of the liberals. A competent CPC would force the liberals back toward the right.
I think the biggest factor (and Yoho can ask me for a source that he appears not interested in ever seeing) is that post secondary education is a liberalizing experience and journalists have post secondary education therefore the general population of journalists will always be more liberal than the general population of Canada.
Then when you have the corporate papers modelling a Center right editorial viewpoint they will scoop up or be competing for the reporters with more right idealogies. Since comparable outlets on the left don’t have similar funding the CBCs staff becomes naturally more left.

That said, their margins are dropping as they've had to have price reductions to keep demand up and prevent inventory from piling up. If the forecast for their earnings report tomorrow is accurate, their Trailing 12 Months Earnings Per Share will drop for the first time in almost 3 years.

This is very true in North America, somewhat true in Europe, not true at all where most EVs are made and sold
