And then hiding behind that racism, we have this gold.
"I would NEVER vote for a Quebec politician simply because regardless of what they say there is an ulterior motive that has nothing to do with Canada. It is there and it ain't going away. "
Meanwhile in Alberta and the UCP/Cons....
When Yikes says he won't vote for anyone that has a a motive that doesn't include Canada, he really means Alberta.

I appreciate the attempt to put words in my mouth but nope...Canada all the way with our province included in the mix. As any will tell you on here I am no fan of the UCP, past and present. I will vote NDP but will be biting my cheek a bit doing so and having said that I would vote for Fido the dog to get rid of Smith.

And the juiciest thing Braid could pull from it is...a list of how many people work in various sectors in Canada? I've bruised my hand clutching my pearls, but I'm not sure why.

Okay, I'll bite. Can anyone here confirm to me that Yikes isn't a fan of the UCP?

I can only hope you are being honest then in that regard, but I won't believe you atm.

Who you vote for doesn't change what you said and the views you expressed. People with terrible worldviews come in lots of different political stripes, as you appear to have evidenced.

Could someone point out the scary part of that article, because I must be missing it. Presumably the paywalled memo is much worse than what Braid wrote about?

Would there possibly be a better time to use it? She knew what she was doing. Two steps ahead of Zoolander.

Article is framed as such a "caught red handed" but it should have been pretty obvious to anyone watching.
BREAKING NEWS: Climate transition won't be great for Oil and gas, secretive government plans revealed!
Of course, perfect timing for electioneering into vote for Smith or you hate Alberta and love Trudeau

That’s possible, but it’s not a single-use act. She could use it here and again on other bills that she thinks it applies to. There’s no reason not to use it on this if she thinks it’s that devastating?

Boy, for someone who doesn't even know the difference between accuracy and precision, she sure is outsmarting a lot of people. Does she have a "warning, very stable genius at work" sign on her office door?

I like how big chunks of posts and topics are ignored. Kind of imprecise like in what people choose to respond to, or not.

What better time to use it?
If this is so devastating why not now?
If the Sovereignty act is not just a bunch of useless fluff, why not use it.
Could it be that she isn't 2 steps ahead of anyone, and in fact is railing against a bill she is completely mischaracterizing, and she knows if she tried to use the Sovereignty Act, it would immediately get quashed because it's completely useless?
Oh, and about that Pilipino language classes thing.
Care to comment?

UCP candidate just came door knocking as my MLA isn't standing in the next election.
I told him to not bother as I wasn't ever going to vote for Danielle Smith.
He was surprised and in a testy voiced asked why I wouldn't support her.
I said I didn't like Danielle Smith's stance on Covid and health care to start, but I didn't have time right now, nor did I have any interest in talking to him about it.
He demanded I tell him one thing she'd done wrong.
And I shut and locked the door.
