Yeap. Hopefully just a blip, but none of the starters are pitching that great the last few times through the rotation.

That as well, though i never blame a guy for laying out to try and make a catch....but that keystone kop routine by the other outfielders was amazingly incompetant.

Doubt the Jays have what the Twins would want though, as i imagine they are looking for a blue chip pitching prospect in return.
Complete hypothetical here....would you deal Devon Travis if that was enough?

Travis would be massive over payment.
You'd be dealing a mid to high A/AA level prospect and do the twins he favour of eating that salary for the next 2 years.

They never give an error for a mental mistake. So it was definitely a triple, and the boot to finish it off. Personally, I think they could have scored it a HR. The Twins weren't going to get Upton once that ball went over Kepler's flailing body.
Also, I'm surprised Rivera didn't take flight given how fast he had that windmill going to send Upton home.

Help, save, whatever.
|
Does anyone know if Grilli was like this with Atlanta? Or is it just because the Jays were his team growing up so he gets pumped playing here? Either way he is awesome.

Out of curiosity I went back to watch him get his 1st save of the year when he was with Atlanta. He struck out Giancarlo Stanton and threw in a quick fist pump. Probably not as animated as he has been with the Jays, but being in a playoff race compared to being about 2-10 will do that.

I'm not sure about the Braves, but he definitely wasn't that way with the Cannons!

And with Arods retirement I'd like to congratulate Grilli on being the last major leaguer still playing to have ever played for the Calgary Cannons.

Jays about to go for the sweep. Would be really huge to get these wins under their belt with a tougher schedule up ahead.
Wearing the Red uniforms today on what could be the last time you see Josh Thole play for this team. After today he is likely to be DFA'd and there is some chatter the Red Sox may claim him.

Jays hit 4 fly balls vs 0 ground balls that first inning, something tells me home runs are coming today.
1-0 good guys after a botched play in the outfield and a sac fly.
Anyone notice Bautista running home? His knee still isn't right.

Jays literally kicking it around this inning. If Dickey doesn't make that kick, Tulo has an easy double play.
Great recovery by Travis to at least get the out.
1-1 now, at least they avoided a disaster inning.
