Can Jose become the batting coach? I love his analysis of the batting approach that he took.

That pitch is absolutely ####. A little leaguer would have destroyed it.

I miss the days when no lead against the Jays felt insurmountable…now any lead feels insurmountable.

Bassitt is a very expensive fourth starter - a real indictment of our ability to develop pitchers

I disagree with Buck on the flip out of the glove.
He clearly had control over the ball. If he had just decided to flip it on the third out and never made an attempt to catch it in his bare hand, nobody would have questioned it.
Vlad isn’t even close. He’s beyond brutal and a liability in such a run producing spot in the lineup. The problem is that the team has literally nobody who can move into his lineup spot. We 100% needed to bring in another batter at the deadline even if it cost us Tiedemann and Orelvis Martinez to get a guy with some team control.
Getting Bo back will be big but it’s likely going to take him some time to fully get back at the plate and it’s not like we were exactly setting the world on fire when he was in the lineup.
The window is probably closed after this year with all of the holes that we will have after the season.
