Big stage and big countdown clock

I agree with this. The Rumble is on my bucket list, but I won't even consider it at a ballpark. Hate the entrance, takes away from the spectacle in my opinion.
Also, and it may have been on here where I read it, the generic themes need to go. Or at the very least add a catch phrase to the start. The crowd should instantly know who's coming out when they music hits, not wait until they read it or see the performer.

There were people who came in after them with less name recognition and less opportunity that took their ball and ran with it.

Take####a and Garcia are two others who immediately come to mind. Hell, even within their own faction, I think Brody King has worked much harder to get himself over and the HoB is actually holding him back.

I wonder if Raw will still have commercials when it's on Netflix?

That's the too many bodies thing.

I was at that one too and thought the set up still hurt it.
Maybe it's because I was sitting on the floor but the low stages make it impossible to see who's coming and you can't see the screen at all from the floor.
Also think it's probably the only rumble in a long time that didn't actually have the WrestleMania sign hanging in the building so they just put it up digitally on the outfield scoreboard which was lame.

I get that WWE needs to pivot after the Punk injury, but having Cody "finish his story" by beating Rollins at Mania would be the biggest wet fart ending of all time.

With everything going to Netflix longer term I wonder if they look at title unification again, since the belt split was more of a thing to satisfy the TV partners
That would be an interesting angle....Cody saying that for him to "Finish His Story" he needs to unify the titles because he wants no debate over who the "World Champion" is

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a story where Cody goes to EC and tries to win to earn a spot in both matches.

It has to be Reigns. There is no way around this. There is no possible other outcome that will be worth the build. They have a hot, white meat, meat and potatoes, boring as #### baby face over in 2024. Like legitimately over, not forced, not being over done. Marks who usually #### on this sort of thing (Me!) love it. Kids love it. They have a guy who is healthy and could easily take over the John Cena position, that Cena is very slowly letting go of, for another 10 years. You let this man "finish his story" and that has to be the end of that.

Could see title unification being a thing for sure...
Trying to remember all the timing now but when Vince left I think HHH unified the titles, then Vince came back and they split the titles again (USA and Fox wanted a title on each show), and now Vince is gone again and they have a new deal with Netflix.
Have Cody vs Seth night one, and Cody vs Roman night two, and let's have Cody 4 belts lol

I hope they do Seth vs Drew vs Sami or Seth vs LA Knight for the WHC.

I swear it's two steps forward, one step back with AEW every week.
Some solid matches on Dynamite, but some stuff that just doesn't make sense story-telling wise.
Good:
- The Hangman/Swerve stuff
- The CMLL guys beating the piss out of Mox was hilarious
- Deonna Purazzo
- Kyle Fletcher getting TV time
- The Bucks being total dickheads
Bad:
- Jericho shouldn't be wrestling anymore
- Predictable results to every match
- Wardlow looking like a chump and then getting injured
Egregiously bad:
- Bullet Club Gold/Acclaimed stuff. Weren't they supposed to aligning to go after The Kingdom? Did they just forget about all of that?

Don't you think it's time to just accept that is.... what AEW is? It's a fantasy booking simulator.
Amazing Roster.
Twitch-plays style booking.

Powerplay Quarterback

Official WWE/ECW/WCW/TNA talk, or whatever v2
That Wardlow injury was silly. Looked like it happened when he lifted the guy extra high for an even more devastating powerbomb. He kind of stepped sideways and I think it happened then. He’s likely out for a while, but he and Adam Cole can have wheelchair races BAY BAY.

I'm still gonna impotently bitch about it online. Isn't that this board's entire reason for existing?

Getting injured and out of that storyline would probably be the best thing for Wardlow's career.
I can't believe how badly they botched him with how over he was at one point.
It's actually something AEW has really struggled with...satisfactory payoffs for young talent.
Daniel Garcia getting really hot when he was about to leave the JAS and join BCC...nope flat finish.
Wardlow wins the TNT title after costing MJF the match with CM Punk...nope flat finish.
Ricky Starks looking great and then wins the tag titles...barely seen again and flat ending
Feel like Take####a is going to face a similar fate now after some great matches with guys like Omega and Darby...that kind of just go nowhere.
And poor Orange Cassidy too who is forever relegated to defending that title in nothing matches week after week, after it looked like they were actually building some type of story.

I honestly think most AEW fans would forgive the company if they just nuked the entire Kingdom storyline and pretended like it never happened.
