No one is going to think this outside of this message board.
Historical and iconic finals comeback led by one of the greatest players of all time will be headline in the hockey and sports world.

The sun will rise on Tuesday, and there 2 certainties I feel.

1. I will still hate the oil stains and their entitled and arrogant fan base
2. Flames fans will wake up happy and relieved Florida finished the job.

I'm willing this into existence. I also have a lot of crow to eat from friends here in Regina and group chats if the Poop Bags win.

Yep. You think Leafs coverage is over the top? God help us if Edmonton wins.

You guys in here are almost singularly alone in saying the two superstars are reprehensible scumbags. You may be jealous of them, you may think they point suck (they don’t), you may think they dive (they don’t ). But even if you were right about that there is just nothing off ice either of these guys have done to earn that reputation. In fact quite the opposite, Mcdavid s connection with the Stelter family and his ongoing work with the foundation is quite admirable and genuine, since I’ve personally seen it in action.

I have friends that are Oiler fans and they call out the diving of those two. Get real.

Oh they suck. Did you see Pissy cut down Spector again in the post game presser the other night? One game away from the Cup and he still holds a grudge. What a prick.

I believe McDavid is good in the community

But he does dive. And Draisaitl dives. Plenty of examples we have seen

Draisaitl delivered an elbow to Barkov that was vicious and would have been a suspendable offense for many other players. Not his fault the NHL has variable standards from which he benefits. But he is dirty

Barkov hasn’t had the same effectiveness since. That stinks.

And Kane and Perry are dirtbags

So McDavid being good in the community, which we won’t dispute, doesn’t make the whole team likeable for many people

You called the two superstars reprehensible scumbags, I called you out on it. Didn’t ask you to like the whole team, just pushing back on the false narrative you’ve created for yourself so you can feel better. But there’s not a chance we will agree so that’s ok.

Dude, the Oilers are garbage and Draisaitl is one of the biggest pieces of #### in the league.

McDavid is just a whiny #%*$@.

What more is there to say?

My apologies, I did not. My bad, it was a different poster who said that.

Draisaitl does seem like a real prick. And he does dive and he’s dirty as hell and he whines and complains a lot. Very unlikable. This isn’t just blind oilers hate. Nuge and Hyman for example seem like good guys. Let’s just be honest that Drai seems like dick

You just need to do a Google or YouTube search to see examples of dives.

When Tkachuk played for the Flames we weren't afraid to acknowledge he dove.

Saying they didn't dive on a certain penalty call is one thing. Claiming they don't dive at all is ridiculous.

Ya saw a video of Hyman in the handshake line after the DAL series and he was gracious and humble. Wished Tanev well for being a warrior all year.

Ahem...

First of all, go to hell with the "poor thing" comment. I'm fine. It's just sports.

Family vacation. Just got home. On a cruise ship with very limited wifi, was barely able to watch the games, let alone post.

Besides, why would I tread into CP when the Oilers are winning. It may as well be the apocalypse for many of you (and me included...this isn't great).

I still have a lot of confidence in the Panthers. Sometimes teams go through streaks where they lose their game, but then find a way to get it back. The Panthers have done this throughout the year. They'll figure it out.

I'm guaranteeing a win in game 7 for the Panthers. If they don't, you can give me any punishment you agree to as a fanbase. Nothing monetary or doxxing related, but go ahead, do your worst. That's how confident I am.

That’d be awesome … you couldn’t watch, so the Panthers held off the win for you

Hope you see them hoist it tomorrow!

Uh, wow. Okay, I guess?

Felt bad for you because your team was losing and you weren't posting. Maybe a bit of an overreaction...

Calling someone ‘poor thing’ on the Internet nearly always comes across as patronizing and sarcastic.
