One thing that drove me nuts at the start was how the wall got knocked down in presumably one spot. You'd think there would be limited space for entry into Alexandria through one small section of wall that would/should be blocked somewhat by debris from the fallen tower, yet almost instantly there was hundreds of walkers everywhere coming at them from all angles.

I found myself yelling at the TV a lot last night.

I am invested in this show, I watched the very first episode, but they are trying my patience.

I don't think there's any problem with Carl sticking up for the kid and trying to protect him. I mean that's the typical response I would expect from anyone after said person just tried to murder them.

Very, very, very serious. Carol is by far the most annoying regular character on the show now. Her character is so annoying I'm starting to like Michonne in comparison.

The only positive thing about last nights show was Deanna. What a lame mid-season finale.

I hate this show ... yet I continue to watch it every week and visit this thread.

I can't explain it.

yes, less analysis of last night's episode and more empty threats to quit the show without any actual follow through.

now that I think of it, the problems a lot of people have with the show are the same ones I have with this thread...disappointed time and time again, but just keep coming back for more, hoping that this time it's going to be different and satisfying.

I wonder if we are starting to see the restrictions of TV.

I have no read the comics, but anything goes. The writer can write and present an over the top, violent, graphic story. You can't do that on TV.

I reckon that this show is going to be the same old same old.

The last thing they probably needed was a rift of that magnitude when they are trying to keep a swarm of walkers from chowing down on them.

The general tone of this thread has gone downhill since the Glenn cliffhanger.

That was a mid season finale??

Uh... okay.

Where was the part that's supposed to make me go "I can't wait until this show comes back"?

Yes because as soon as things settle down I'm sure Carl will let the cat out of the bag. We all know they are going to wring out some love triangle story between the two boys and the girl in the middle. Outing an attempted murder would just get in the way of that side story. Not exactly going out on a limb but I will predict right now that the love triangle will end in the death of one or both of the characters not named Carl.

Yep. The show will be better when it picks up on her absence alone.

Nevermind I just saw the post-credits scene. I'm back on board.

Correct me if I am wrong but did Darryl not run into these bikers last season?

I'm pretty excited for February, I think it will be similar to the first few episodes this season.

Season 4, and there's no indication that it's the same group or different, but this is a totally different part of the country they're in now, so...

That I don't get either. It wasn't like they weren't at close range, and any kind of escape would be into the hoard of walkers. So even if they weren't able to save the doctor's life, either way she would have been dead.

At the very least Rosita should have acted, maybe Tara hesitated due to the love interest.

If there is one thing we have learnt about this universe it is that head shots never miss.

Don't you recall Tara hanging off the wall popping walkers from with a pistol?
