So many questions about this. The main one is wasn’t xAI, which is now apparently worth $80bn, originally part of X? So he spun it out to himself and now is using it to buy back the remaining business, mostly from himself.
This seems like an enormous scam designed to get X’s dwindling value and debts off Musk’s personal books.

From reading the article it seems a payoff to his X investors, sharing the potential profits from his AI arm, sounds like his investors are closing in and so he's trying to keep back any margin calls

When we get the 'where are they now' segment in 10 years or so and he is living in poverty with his 20 kids in a double wide it will be glorious

No, he aint offering them profits, he's offering them potential profits if anyone actually works out how to exploit this AI thing and also if his AI turns out to be either the best or cheapest of at least functional

My guess is his investors arent going to be placated by that

As someone on the outside looking in, I hate everything I see about the USA now. I sometimes forget that there's so many people in the country itself that hate what's going on. It's nice to see people getting out there and showing their displeasure. I do hope that something can be done but, from what I keep reading, there's very little that can be done now other than working to get people to participate in the primaries next fall....maybe?
