You could see the tying goal coming a mile away. Way too passive by Canada. Poor defensive coverage, poor rebound control.
They can still win this in the most dramatic way possible. At least they cannot sit back now. Right, Babcock?

Yup. Anybody saying that goal was Luongo's fault need to give your heads a shake. It was a fluke goal off of a lucky bounce. Nothing more.

The two best two out guys in the Olympics based on lifetime stats (min. 20 chances) are Toews and Crosby.

The meltdown on this board if the US wins is going to be hilarious. It already is right now.

Why because I make one post outing Niedermayer for floating out there on the last goal and potentially costing this team a gold medal? The only over reaction that seems to be going on here is on your behalf jumping down everyone elses throats for their observations. Perhaps it is you whose outlook needs realigning.

Even though it will be a travesty if it goes to a shootout, it is fitting it is going to overtime. the game has been very even, the shots are even and I would bet the scoring chances are even as well.
These are the times heroes are made.

I think most team Canada teams will at least give the U.S team credit for working hard, never giving up...
Either way it end, the real winners are the fans who have seen really good hockey, played by the best players in the world giving it their all.

The Americans have one maybe two guys on their team that could make team Canada.
They have relied all tournament long on getting lucky bounces to create goals and even against weak teams have crated offense. Their defense is a trainwreck in their own zone outside of Ralfalski, Orpik and sometimes Suter.
They are not talented.

I'm in the US and rooting for them, but I think Sidney Crosby redeems himself with a game winning goal in OT!

I'm going with the guy I hate the most. 20 cent Kane will win this on a breakaway after a Canadian cross ice pass goes off an American skate.

On Finnish tv Pasi Nurminen (a former goalie himself) was highly critical of Luongo's performance on that goal. Apparently he isn't watching the game though?

Seriously? I am usually not a Luongo defender but he's have a good game. Neither of the goalies have let in a bad goal. The game is tied after regulation heading into overtime because the teams are evenly matched.
Let the best team win! Go Canada!
Canada: Iginla (Would Bell and Samsung lie to us?)
USA: Kane
Go Canada!
