I am picking a few territories up here in Europe but it is pretty patchy as I can only get them when I find a wifi. You can follow my trip south to Italy. I try to pick up one territory every stop. That is until GMC decides to take them back.

Just discovered (through user search) that there is a certain player in the CP world that somehow is managing to be both in Toronto and Calgary at the same time!!!

I don't know who roast beef is, but while I admire his perseverance in attacking me all the way down highway 2 from Edmonton to Calgary (on the CP board), he can't have hoped to have held those territories without a response from me.

Heh. I didn't expect to hold them for long. I don't travel highway 2 all that often. But it sure passes the time on the drive

It seems to be better now but we were having some issues during the sale and shortly afterwards. For a day or two we were getting around 50 new users an hour. It's the reason we stopped the sale sooner than we would have liked. We wanted to give the server a rest so we could make sure the game was still playing ok.
All told, we've more than tripled the number of users in a few days. It's been fun seeing where the new players are located and a learning experience in customer relations.

The territory I live in, the guy had a 100+ army. So I plugged my iPhone into the charger and just left OTW open.
I always forget to use this though so I only have two territories right now. My other one is up 37th St SW.

i bought the game on Wednesday and used it on my trip to Peterborough and renamed all the territories there Leafs Suck

We're still looking for a partner to port the game over to Android.
We have lots of new features coming to the iPhone and will be updating those features to the WP7 too.

It's been a long time coming but we've finally released an update for the iPhone.
Now we have troop transport tricks that allow you to load up troops and move them to other territories (at a cost).
We've also added "mystery boxes" throughout the world that have surprises for those that get to them first. Most are good but occasionally they hurt a bit too.
You can scroll through all of the leaderboards.
There is another resource (diamonds) that can only be found in mystery boxes. It will be used in an upcoming attack.
Throw in some bug fixes and memory leaks and we're pretty happy it's finally out the door.
