I just saw an ad for a local strip club. Normally at the end of their ads, they have a snippet for whatever porn star/playboy model they have dancing that weekend.
Speaking of scrip clubs, I just don't get them. I think they're the biggest scam geared towards men going today. Complete and total waste of money.

This weekend?
A midget.
"2 Feet, 10 inches of PURE EXCITEMENT."
Wow. Just wow.
To quote a long forgotten, but extremely awesome cartoon (+2 internets to anyone who gets it) "they're small and disproportioned, but strangely arousing".

Same. Although I have never been so I can't really speak. If you have to go to a strip club to get your dongle up, it's time to get a new girlfriend... or wife (I kid) or just better porn.

WTF?! There is nothing wrong with going to the ballet (get it? they're dancers!) once in a while. If you make a habit of going it's another thing entirely, but the occasional night of looking at, and having forced conversations with, hot and naked women is nice.
Nothing really wrong with it, but I think people who go and pay a ton of money for dancers and money to throw at the girls are wasting their money. I went a couple of weeks ago for a stag, and it's just a joke. The dancers take forever to take their clothes off on stage. Drinks are too expensive. The shot girls that walk around are annoying. Lap dances are ridiculous. I could go on and on...

I don't get the peelers either. A naked chick that is totally off limits, waitresses that are well seasoned in the art of fending off propositions, and the rest of the room is dudes.

It's okay, but should never be something that you make a real habit out of. Just something to take a gander at every once in awhile...

It had it's novelty back when me and the boys were turning 18 and 19. A birthday type thing for a couple hours before heading to the bar to work on tangible chicks.

Exactly. More of a gag thing than anything.
On another note... I feel like I can't find a drive to do much of anything creative nowadays. It's depressing in my mind.

yeah. I don't think too many people are going to sign up for CP because of google results for 'culinary queer'. Doesn't seem like a high traffic area. The keg thing maybe.
If there is anything that reinforces the sense of community around CP it's when posters (who most of up have, and never will meet) are going through a hard time and we collectively do the best we can to help them out in whatever way possible.
I recall two years when my best friend suddenly passed away, I debated for almost an hour weather or not I should start a thread about it. Thankfully I did because the support and kind words I received from people I didn't even know helped more than I could ever imagine.
It's OK to feel whatever you're feeling ResAlien, I've learned there isn't a right or a wrong way to grieve. It's different for everyone. I hope you can find some peace, bud.
I did the same when my friend commited suicide earlier this year, and it was pretty great to hear what people had to say. I too debated whether it was a good idea to post something like that to a bunch of anonymous people, but it worked out okay.
