They haven't been fielding a team capable of competing for a championship for 4 seasons now...and they're doing this knowingly. That's not loyalty.

Now now, this is only the second year that they've been a really bad team. 3 seasons ago they were 10-6 and had one of the best offences in the NFL. Pittsburgh had the same record and won the Superbowl that year. 2 seasons ago they still made the playoffs and that was after Trent Green had his head mushed for the first time. It's been these two years since Gonzalez signed this extension that they've become a god awful team.

I'm having so many doubts about my picks this week, have this feeling there will be some weird upsets. I might jump off a bridge if the Chargers somehow lose to Oakland.

Well, with this start I'm pretty excited to be down only 6-0.

Spencer Larsen just absolutely hammered the Chiefs returner on this last kick off. One of the biggest hits I've ever seen. I'm sure it will be up on youtube shortly.

Justin Gage is giving the Vikings secondary fits right now.

Give KC some credit though...their defense is playing extremely hard and well. Biggest factor in the game thus far, IMO.
KC's offense has been very underwhelming again.

I would say their coverage has been pretty good, but the Broncos receivers need to learn to hold onto ball. I have money on this game damn it!

That KC is offense is terrible.
I don't understand why Edwards didn't go for it on 4th and 1. The KC offense isn't good enough to win the game with FG's. (Although they Denver defense is likely bad enough that they just may hand the game to the Chiefs no matter what the offense does.)

There's too many games on right now lol........been flipping between 4 but the Jets-Cardinals game is getting out of hand. 34-0 Jets at halftime. Cards keep turning it over every possession.

Prater from 56. Big play. Denver gets the ball first in the second half.
Pretty favorable situation considering what could've happened this half.

His first TD was vintage Favre. Zip!

Man is Brees ever underrated. In my other(non-CP.com) fantasy league, some guy actually dropped Drew Brees to pick up O'Sullivan, because he also wanted to hold onto Palmer. I looked in FA for a QB, as McNabb's banged up right now, and couldn't believe my eyes when I actually saw Brees sitting at the top of the list(and thankfully I happened to be #1 on the waiver wire list). Gobbled him up, and Brees has 195 yards and 3 TD's so far at halftime against the Niners. Championship!

Oh man...what a gift!
Brees is a top 5 QB in the NFL. No question.

I think part of the reason why Brees gets overlooked is because he's a quiet guy. He doesn't have the charisma of a Brady, Favre, Romo, McNabb, etc.
But I agree...he's a very good QB.

Herm's an awful coach. Play-calling is terrible and why is he challenging this for?
and what the heck is happening to the Jets? :P

If Denver loses this game, does it make the call against San Diego more egregious? Say Denver does lose and San Diego beats Oakland today, then they'll be 3-1 and 2-2 respectively, with Denver holding the tiebreaker and first place in the division. In reality, it should be the other way around. The AFC is a messy conference this year.

I sat Favre and played Warner in one of my leagues... oops!
Thankfully Warner isn't in the negatives like he was after the 1st half.
