Probably not going to be able to make this, I have been working late every other night so far this week. Don't see why tonight would be any different...

I can't make this one. I'm defending my dissertation in May, so I guess I should actually write the thing.

No way to make it to Calgary for these meetings, but if anyone has a question or two for your (well probably not your) friendly neighbourhood pharmacist feel free to PM me. Maybe I could crash a meeting if I'm passing through?

Anyone interested in getting together after Stampede? I know traditional wisdom dictates that you're not supposed to eat them in any month that doesn't have an "r" but would the group be willing to do something a bit different and go to an oyster bar for a meeting? We can all pretend we're fancy and sophisticated whilst slurping mollusks on the half shell.
What say you?
(and no, I don't mean the Blue Oyster)

I don't really eat that kind of thing, but I'd show up if it was a night other than Thursday.

I like oysters, but I'm not sure it is a big drawing card.
Wet T-Shirt Night will get the people out.

I think it depends whose t-shirt is wet. Mine or yours? Not so much. Slava on the other hand...
Frankly, I was just looking for an excuse to go for oysters. I don't know many people who would be up for something like that.

I am interested but I would probably get fish due to my shellfish allergy. I get back from Europe on Aug 1, so if it is after that I am game.

Good Afternoon all.
I stumbled across this forum and thought it was great. A born and raised Calgary boy the Flames have always been my team right from my first standing room "seat" at the corral.
As this is a networking thread, I thought that I would give some background on myself. A former pilot, I have started a new company, Executive Express which offers an executive class ground service daily between Calgary and Edmonton. This is my answer to the airport in Edmonton closing. I designed the vehicle myself borrowing from my days as a commuter and corporate pilot. For all you lawyers and such you will love it as it is a unique service.

I'd do a meeting, preferably before the election and with a bunch of attendees from wards 11 and 13!

I'm in Calgary for the rest of the year and would love to join one of these events.
