There are pre-existing legal tests for when you're allowed to imprison someone before they have a trial.
I don't see McKenna, as a flight risk, or that he is some kind of serial face puncher.
Right now we are going off the word of some drunk a-hole who followed around an athlete, they don't know, for the purpose of calling their mother a whore. Let's wait for the facts to come out.

Fair enough, those facts haven't been determined yet either. Either way, locking up McKenna for being involved in a bar fight doesn't seem like the right move at this moment. A non-celebrity, beyond the drunk tank, wouldn't get locked up for that either.

I was hoping there would be more details today as he was originally scheduled to appear in court for the preliminary stuff today, but it looks like it was pushed to March 11th now.
On one hand, it probably gives them more time to maybe settle it and come up with a plea that works for everyone, but on the other hand, it could make it less likely that there is more clarity before the draft.

In that game he had 1 goal. That was the goal. He did okay the rest of the game too. He had 7 assists in that game. Yes, he had an 8 point game. I think that's pretty good
