Scary thing is. Yamamoto very well could pitch 2 more games this series.
I don't see that happening. He would have to go on 3 days rest each time and he just pitched a complete game on 105 pitches. Besides, there's no reason to do that if you have the other guys in the rotation this team has.
However, he is slated to pitch in game 6, which could be pivotal either way.
He may also not pitch another game in the series, which would also be bad news for the Jays.

That's a good point. And in Japan, pitchers are more accustomed to six days of rest.
He won't pitch two more games. And with him scheduled to pitch game 6, he won't be a bullpen option for game 7. The only possibility is if he could pitch an inning on his bullpen day, which would be Tuesday. Teams have done that before in the Series, but it is unlikely.
Yamamoto is on a great run here but he is not unbeatable. He could easily give up 3+ runs in his next start, he has done that in 10 starts this season.

Well, not necessarily...

With the quality of their rotation, I don’t think they will use Yamamoto on short rest. I also would like the Blue Jays’ chances of adapting to his stuff if he faced them three times.
A team like Detroit or Boston would need to roll out their ace until his arm disintegrated into dust.
The odd part is that it's a better story if the Jays win. And the majority of their watching audience probably also wants the Dodgers to lose.
The only non-Dodgers fans I see cheering for the Dodgers are salty Yankees and Mariners fans and Trump supporters who are falling for his Canada is evil narrative.

It's funny you say that, because I've seen a whole bunch of Yankee fans cheering for the Jays down this way. Donny Baseball a big part of that, and some of them being like "AL East represent!"

I don't mean that all Yankees and Mariners fans are salty. I just mean the ones who are salty are cheering for the Dodgers. And they're still convinced the Blue Jays are cheating.

Re: Fox, I don't blame them. They're an American broadcast who is largely America first.
Pretty ironic that immigrants like Rupert Murdoch (Australian) and Elon Musk (South African) are such a big part of this anti-immigration, "America First" stuff.

I'm convinced some people just are driven by money instead of good values. Great that they built some type of industry empire, but they're sociopaths who found a following and fall in line to stroke their egos with their following.

They aren't against immigration in general, they are against immigration if you aren't white

I would also add "if you aren't wealthy" to that equation. If you look at the changes to visa policies/fees recently, it's pretty obvious. My dad is an immigrant (also a Yankees fan from Calgary) who votes for what's going on right now, but would likely not be in the US under the current H1-B/L1-B policies that were implemented this year. Weird times.
From my overwhelmingly biased perspective, the Dodgers are a joyless and lifeless group of dull superstars who have knowingly sold their souls to the devil. When I see shots of their dugout I see nothing but subdued vacant stares.
With respect to the Jays. I see a vibrant group of team first players who genuinely care about one another and produce astonishing results that are greater than the sum of their parts.

Yep. But the Dodgers do have all those superstars...
