I recall there being a 9 game limit before having to return the player to junior so their contract slides. If they play a 10th game, I think it burns a year.

yeah would have to be 10 NHL games - which could have included playoffs- but now...


Buium's contract- as I understand it, won't slide, as he signed it at 19 in a year where he turns 20...or something like that-
