The Burrow sweepstakes when he inevitably forces his way out is going to be legendary. Four firsts and four seconds will be the starting price.

Trey Smith also got paid. Highest paid guard and Center in the NFL on the offensive line...yet the Eagles will probably still abuse them. Good for Smith who fell in the draft and ended up as a 6th round pick.

Browns fans hate the owner and wish he would sell the team. Fans almost unanimously oppose strongly the planned suburban domed stadium.

I see that next time Rashee Rice has to move in the next 5 years, he has a place where he can stay free of charge for 30 days called jail. Likely a Suspension from the league too.

So he got $47 million for a whopping five games. Even if he loses the other $35 million it's an all-time fleece job.

Pretty clear as of yesterday he wasn't going to play for them this season because the 2nd surgery will put him out 3-4 months so they cut bait now and are trying to void his deal because of how he handled his recovery.

Before OTAs began, the Raiders informed Wilkins that he needed a second surgery on his foot, according to a league source. Wilkins disagreed and didn’t get the procedure, a league source said. That sparked a back-and-forth over the last few months that led to the Raiders ultimately deciding to move on from Wilkins.

Lifetime In Suspension

Foot injuries are tough, a grievance has been filed and I'm sure they'll negotiate a settlement for the rest of the money owed to him. It got me to thinking though how they shouldn't have ever needed him in the first place. How the raiders of all teams passed on Jalen Carter to take Tyree Wilson I'll never understand.

Because Carter was involved in a crash that killed someone so the Raiders didn't want to double down with the Ruggs incident happening months earlier. Doesn't change the fact that Wilson is a huge bust though as he's barely a rotational player at this stage.

what in the world ...
Quote:
Christian Wilkins, who was released by the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, kissed a fellow player on the head and the teammate took offense to it, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The incident was not the sole reason Wilkins was cut, sources said. Wilkins has been recovering from a Jones fracture, which he suffered in his left foot last October.
Last week's incident happened inside a team meeting room. One source told ESPN that the interaction was "playful," but the teammate didn't see it that way. It's not known what the fellow player did following the incident.
A complaint was filed to Raiders' human resources department, which investigated the incident, a source told Schefter. The Raiders, through a team spokesperson, declined to comment.

Yeah there's been some bizarre rumours about him being a bit of a freak, etc going about in the past week. He's been known to grab guys privates in piles as he did to Josh Allen and got fined for it. There's a Clemson/OSU video of him doing it in college as well. Not exactly sure what's going on in his mind but the Raiders seem to be magnets for this kind of thing as Chandler Jones kind of went crazy as well.
