imagine going 12-1 in the playoffs, only to add two more studs for the finals. Damn.

Basha scored the games 1st goal and Lindstrom picked up the 2nd assist. Crowd was pumped for that.

Anyways, Spokane is very physical, and very aggressive. They are doing a solid job of taking away time and space and keeping the Tigers from using their speed. This could be a very good series. A lot closer than i was expecting.

Spokane is the best team the Tigers have faced in the playoffs and it's not close - They were really hard on the forecheck and caused a lot of turnovers. Fortunately, Harry had an outstanding game between the pipes.

Yeah, the Tigers will have to adjust to the physicality and heavy forecheck from Spokane. They end up winning 4-1 but if they continue to be outplayed like that it's going to be tough to win the series.

Same lineups for both teams for game 2 tonight - Tigers need a win to ensure that game 6 (if necessary) will be played back in Medicine Hat.

Spokane is good. Really good.

One of the tightest checking teams I've seen. Tigers are going to have to dig deep in this series.

Did something happen during the game? I was at a Mother's Day dinner and missed tonight's game. Looks like I picked a good game to miss lol

There is rumors it happened in practice prior to game 1. He was clearly laboring later on in game 1 and in this game he looked like he could barely skate at times.

Tough break for the kid, and for the Tigers.

Spokane is a relentless checking team. It's impressive to watch. As soon as a Tiger touches the puck there is a guy all over him, no matter where it is on the ice.

I had to look back but that was the Tigers first loss on home ice since February 21st, a 5-4 loss to the Oil Kings.

It was their first loss since April 1st, game 3 in round 1 vs Swift.

Tigers have a group of Stars. But The Chiefs have Catton and Cristall.

happy for Lindstrom to get back on the scoresheet. Must have been a brutal year for him.

Not surprising, he's at less than 50%

Hopefully extra rest will be enough for him to come back later in the series.

Time for the rest of the boys to step it up.

This is more what I expected this series. I was shocked at how little shot volume and puck possession the Tigers had in games 1 and 2. Hopefully they keep this up.

Yeah, Weinstein hit Lindy pretty hard on the thigh with his knee. I was thinking the same, hopefully just a charley horse at worst.
