I'm sure the Nephites rode Mammoths or something.

Mammoth was the best option of the 3 after Yeti got kiboshed, and the logo is well done. Really like the use of the tusk in the U in Utah - should've used that in their Away jerseys rather than the boring college font.

The logo is good, still not a fan of the name but it will probably grow on me.

I just wish their jerseys had a little more contrast in the colours and design. I guess it only matters what the fans think though.

Shouldn't the Mammoth be biting a hockey stick in half?

That could work too. Doesn't feel expansiony enough.

Though I guess it is a relocation.

The mammoth should be holding a hockey stick and playing hockey like the Penguin from Pittsburgh.

Well humans and mammoths at least coexisted... but maybe don't ask the Mormons about the dinosaur fossils

The Hamilton Mammoth.
The Houston Mammoth.
The Quebec City Mammoth.

Sounds weird.

That logo looks like it's straight out of NHL 25.

While Mammoth isn't completely original, Outlaws is far too ubiquitous in the sporting world.

My experience as well.

Now...does the Mammoth have to wear the magic undergarments?

My question still in why Mammoth?

Most team names somehow relate to the history or culture of the region they either originated in or currently represent. I couldn't find anything online about how or why mammoths are connected to Utah, but I didn't look too hard. It just seems really random, kind of like the Penguins I guess (which I always thought was a dumb name).

So your real question is...."where Mammoth?"

Who is Mammoth?
