I've always wondered why a goalie taking a puck to the head hard enough to knock their full cage off isn't grounds for concussion protocol.
(Actually, after typing that out, it dawned on me that players would just take advantage of it and aim for the head. Which, I guess could be a penalty, but then unintended shots would be penalized... and goalies would just try to save everything with their heads to get PPs...)
