Just so we're clear, I'm cheering for the 'Rona on this one.
You're okay. But...

Had both COVID and flu shot on Friday. This is the first time I have had Moderna and my left arm is quite sore at the injection site, swollen somewhat as well.
Had the flu shot in my right arm. It is swollen as well, not as sore as the left arm, but swollen. She must have hit some small blood vessel as she inserted the needle as the injection site bled for a bit.
Sore arms but really no other issues except being a bit more tired.

To all you “in person conversations are critical” relics, get with the times already. 99% of your in person requirements are due to your antiquated communication skills, and are, in fact a waste of time.

Workplaces that insist on 100% in office attendance these days are going to lose all the best employees with such archaic policies.
So many people were sick with colds and covid in my office last week I'm surprised I didn't go down. Only one other person besides me was courteous enough to wear a mask.

How long are they recommending to wait after testing positive before getting the vaccine these days? I was going to go get my flu/covid vaccine tonight but... ended up testing positive. This is way worse than last time I had it.

Largely unaffected by the Moderna shot the day I got it (though I did have an unexpected couch nap between 7 PM and 1 AM). Today, I was a bit sore like I had a very strenuous workout the day before but not too bad.
Got both flu and COVID shots in my right (dominant) arm, no issues, no pain.

Many health boards and experts recommend waiting 3 months. Some say 6 months but they also all say that getting it as soon as you're not sick won't hurt you.

3 months is what we were told. So for us, it will be January.

It might not hurt you, but it is kind of pointless. Covid is basically your booster at this point.

This matters as there is higher levels of immunity and lower levels of consequence from infection.

Just a heads up for folks that are booking at clinics through AHS; it seems like they are having some issues. My wife booked herself and the kids in, but couldn’t get my health card number to work for whatever reason. When we went to get the shots they did not have her in the appointment either, but had it booked for the two kids. They were not allowing any walk-ins since the clinic was completely booked, which is completely fair, but it did suck not being able to get us all done at once. So, if you did book your family in for appointments it is probably a good idea to double check that everyone is confirmed. Both the staff at the front desk and the nurse that was giving the shots said they had a number of folks complain about this happening to them and their appointments.

I had that cluster#### too. Many others seemed to have that issue as well. I hear the best thing to do is book everyone individually. Don't use the family booking method, definitely make sure everyone gets a text confirmation with their name on it. We were advised to file a complaint to AHS for that database ####up whatever issue.
They had my wife, but no one else. They "allowed" my wife and I the appointment because of the text confirmation we both had that showed our name and time, but still could not find me in the system. They "allowed" my wife and I to transfer our appointment confirmations to our kids.

And we like to be amused by morons like you. Everybody wins! Oh except if you get COVID and need to go to the hospital. Then only we win. Thoughts and prayers though.

Yeah so weird of people to take a passing interest in public health on a message board.
