Spurs looking mediocre (at best) yet again, which of course means classic snatch and grab incoming.

What is with that kit. I though United took the ugliest of the season, until today.

flattering scoreline. Lloris the reason this isn't a thrashing.

I only saw the last ~10 minutes, thankfully. I guess silver lining is that home teams have won all the top six matches thus far. But that looked like a terrible effort.
The problem with Conte is that when things are going well, people will endure his system. When they’re not seeing results though, it’s awful.

Fred was unreal today. Such a weird player, he was absolute trash against Newcastle and then pulls out a worldclass performance like this a few days later.

I guess you haven't been watching The Spurs much this season.
Things haven't been going well.
They've been scraping by against lesser teams and getting absolutely dominated against the better ones.
That was one of United's easiest wins this season.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says he will "deal with" Cristiano Ronaldo after the unused substitute walked down the tunnel minutes before the end of the win over Tottenham.
Ronaldo, 37, left in the 89th minute, shortly after Ten Hag brought on Christian Eriksen and Anthony Elanga.
"I will deal with that tomorrow, not today. We are now celebrating this victory," said Ten Hag.
"I have seen him, but I haven't spoken with him."

Again, perfect opportunity for Ten Hag to stamp his mark here. Maximum fine and punishment. Shows how much he is into the team aspect.

He made it from the sideline, to the dressing room, to leaving the stadium in 6 minutes? And people say his legs are gone.

Refused to come on as a sub.
Decisive action. Good.
Backed by the club. Good.
Get Beckham on the blower. That's his best move now.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been dropped from Manchester United’s squad for Saturday’s game at Chelsea. The punishment was imposed by Erik ten Hag on a day when it emerged that the forward has such a fractious relationship with some of the manager’s coaching staff that he keep his communication with certain members to a minimum.
Ten Hag has omitted Ronaldo as a result of the player walking down the tunnel before the end of the team’s win over Tottenham on Wednesday. The decision has been backed by the club’s hierarchy and Ronaldo will not train with the first team as they prepare for the game at Stamford Bridge. Ten Hag has still asked him to report to the training ground.

Not sure why they kept him this summer. Should have been allowed to leave for a Champions League club on a free, would have saved a fortune. I’ve been very critical of him since he moved back to Manchester United, but most people in this thread seem to remember him for what he was, not what he is. It he was good enough, they’d be playing him.
MLS time for Ronaldo.

nobody was taking him. Mendes kept whoring him around Europe and all he got was "thanks, but no thanks". The only way for a club to take him would have required him to take a massive wage cut, which was never going to happen. So it's easy to say they should have got rid of him, but there was simply no market due to the combination of decline, wages and drama.

Kept him? From the list of suitors that wanted him?
No.
You were critical of him last year seeming to think that you were the only one that noticed that he wasn't a pressing player. That his legs weren't what they used to be.
Ignoring the fact that, taking Bruno out of the equation he was still responsible for half their goals.
He'd bang in a few goals. You'd stfu. Couple of goal less games. Same old drivel. Score a couple stfu again.
Yes. We ALL got it. We ALL saw that his speed and stamina weren't what they were. This was obvious to a blind man and his dog. It wasn't some revelation.
He would still have had a role to play as a top poacher for final 20-30 minutes but his ego can't get past that he is no longer a starter due to his legs.
We all get it. His legs are no longer what they were.
What you fail to get is. Because of that he has adjusted his game.
You seem to think it's either run like Billy o or nothing.

I could see Galatasaray making a play. They could sell enough merch to make it worthwhile, even with his ridiculous wages.

Or for CR to walk away from the contract.
And as Keane mentioned if Mendes was so clever then n there should have been a CL clause in his contract.
