2nd best season in franchise, best offense in a long time but goalie and defense that can't even get motivated in the playoffs. They did it again got our hopes up, got us all emotionally invested and then don't show up for round 2 against their biggest rival. and choke in a monumental fashion.

No, but he needs to make some big saves. We need that in the playoffs. Game 3 was his best game of the series. He costs us to go down 1-0 pretty much at puck drop.

The rest of the team needs to score/finish too. Oilers have just been better in the last few games. We have sucked. I hope things change. We still have 40 minutes to play, but this is so demoralizing

Vladar isn't very good. Not sure it makes sense to switch. If markstrom isn't playing well, can't be oilers.

Sure, but what legitimate chances have the Flames had?

I can remember: Johnny's onetimer that he doesn't get off the ice, and Johnny's partial breakaway that Smith swallows up. Johnny normally goes top corner gloveside with that shot, I wonder if Smith made him second guess?

Agreed so far. Oilers have scored a lot of good goals, but Markstrom has let in a lot of bad goals in three games and a period.

Vladar may not save the day, but it's a point now where it actually can't get any worse, so if Markström is coming out for the second period, I'm not gonna watch this anymore. The worst part of it all is that the Flames are at times greatly outplaying the Oilers, but everything ends up in their own net. It's like Markström became Mike Smith when Smith got pulled in game 1. He's been a complete disaster ever since.
