It was the zone entry before that Dallas ended up clearing. I found a video the French commentary. Such a stupid thing to whine about.

I think when it came back to the dman (can't recall who) near the bench it was close to the line... I remember when they showed the replay they briefly focused on that but it looked like it stayed onside to me.

I thought Stone's dump in might have been icing given the call earlier in the series.

This is the tweet I'm talking about. Even if it was offside Dallas cleared so whining about it is grasping at straws.

I actually breathed a sigh of relief when this puck was cleared.

Flames have won 5 playoff series (so far) since winning the Cup in 89. Sutter has been the coach in 4 of them while only coaching for basically 3-4 years here

Still feels surreal. Like last night was something out of a dream.

Dallas just gave the flames a very valuable lesson.

Dallas has been to the SCF and WCF in the last three years. They know what it takes to get there and compete, and brought every bit of that experience to this series. They ground things as much as possible and had their goalie stand on his head.

The Flames pushed through and should be well prepared for the Oilers.

This actually muted my celebration because I couldn't remember if it cleared after that. Would have been a killer to have it over-turned. Particularly because it just looked like Backlund mentally checked out from his shift and wasn't paying attention to the entry.

Tkachuk doesn't get enough credit on the GWG. He faked out Heiskanen in thinking he was gonna get hit...instead he steals the puck from him and starts the cycle and that you know the rest!

That is exactly how I looked and sounded. So he stays in his room and 4 minutes into OT I get a text from him that says I have to pee and I texted back pee out the damn window, I don't care but if you leave that room I will end you! Then Johnny scores, I scream and holler and after about five minutes I texted him he could use the bathroom. All was right in the universe and the frogs rejoiced!
I’d say this was child abuse and you need to get a grip, but you have a fully grown 21 year old man still living at home, so that’s probably enough of a punishment for a bully like you.

Someday he’ll either kick your ass or spend thousands on a therapist, but no matter what it’s a miracle he hasn’t become a Oilers fan just to spite you.

oh boy... settle down guys. I doubt he handcuffed the 21 year old to the radiator in his windowless bedroom in the basement.

Ha. My wife and my sister both made comments that I shouldn't watch the game with my dad yesterday, as we tend to lose every time we watch together. I said screw it, and watched it with him any way. He's 76 this year, and opportunities like this are few and far between.

Thanks for bailing my dad and I out Johnny!

Go Flames!

Also, mistreating your child over a foolish superstition doesn't make sense at any age. Kid probably doesn't like the flames much lol.

Yikes.

My Dad and I haven't watched a flames game together in a while; having two kids and a pandemic does that. And we haven't watched the flames win a series together since 04. We still watched yesterday through all the nerves, and celebrated a great moment together (along with my brother too) when Johnny scored. That's a great flames, family memory.

Yeah people need to get a grip on their superstitions. The outcome of any game has 0 to do with what you feel, act, eat, watch or whatever.

Also the shaming of posters reacting in the GT is sad physcho behaviour. That really bothers me and I don’t even agree with the perceived negative comments, they’re fans and last night was a tough game even for an optimist like me.

Well at least we have Macman now to police our superstitions and Wall of Shame.

Write a letter to Sidney Crosby telling him he is an idiot for being superstitious, I bet you he cares what you think.
