I do think it's time for stone and his bomb on the PP but other than that,
the horrendous positional error by Rasmus cost us the game, his partner already covered the shooter and Rasmus went to the shooter as well leaving the most dangerous player of the series, Pavelski all alone for the easy tap in off the rebound.

both game 2 and 3 were lost on mistakes from the defense I don't think putting lines in blender can stop horrendous costly mistakes by our very inexperienced defense, aside from Tanev, the D has been hot dog poop. Dallas' dmen are absolutely schooling us.

No one has Kipper vibes. Ever. Take that back!

But seriously, I think Flames lack of crease chaos is making him look better than he is. He'll get lit up after this series if they get past the Flames.

If he has any gut, he’d sit Jarnkrok . The guy is a softy and contributed nothing. It’s another Treliving’s blunder

But I think he still likes to come back next year

Why take kylington out?
He's been far from the problem.
If they want to bring stone in for his pp shot, take gubranson out.
Put stone with zadorov

After some time to reflect I feel like it’s not a personnel issue as much as a mindset problem. They keep getting suckered into stupid penalties and playing down. They need to stop chasing and let our talent do the work. Keep away from the after the whistle antics and let them take the call.

None of the dmen are playing that bad to be taken out

Well, Andersson and Hanifin are playing like idiots but they are not going to sit for Stone

Seen this act before. The only thing that could change the Flames fate is magic but the only magic they’re good at in playoffs is the disappearing act. Worse than getting wiped by Dallas in round 1 will be watching the Oilers cruise to round three after doing to Dallas what we couldn’t. Score…this series already feels like most every other for the Flames. Over.

OK, and why take Gudbranson out? He hasn't been physical, but has played virtually mistake free hockey through 3 games.

The Flames have allowed 6 goals.

Game 2
1: Andersson and Hanifin
2: Andersson and Hanifin (ENG)

Game 3
3: Tanev and Kylington
4: Andersson and Hanifin
5: Andersson and Hanifin
6: Andersson (ENG)

Crash the net. The east west skating around looking for slot passes style doesn’t work against Dallas they clog things up like nobody else. The one time it did Lindholm was coming in off the bench. The 4th line does it and they look the most effective consistently. Figure out how to score on the PP more we should be punishing them. Thats the difference for me. Guys should be in the goalies grill all the time every time.

Yeah Sutter’s strategy may eventually wear down the Stars……for the next series

Flames in my view, will go with the same lineup unless an injury occurs.

Top 9 forwards have to find a way to generate more high danger chances

So far it looks like the shots are from outside...

Flames centers also look like they are losing allot of key faceoffs...

I think Jarncrok is a Sutter guy. Hasn't really panned out, he may just be regressing. He looks more lost on the ice than anything, not a lot of chemistry with his line mates. Would like to see Carpenter and Stone slot in, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's part of their strategy. " #19 can't help himself, let's just take this 40 goal scorer right out of the lineup"

He so eager to prove something, not sure what it is

I have to take issue with this. The Lindholm interference, Mangiapane goalie interference and Zadorov trip were incredibly soft penalties that just scream the ref's were looking to even up the pp's. The Flames focused on the hockey game, outplayed Dallas and got completely screwed by the refs.

No call in Benn for his slelwfoot or fine worthy slash and soft ass calls against the Flames which were against the flow of play changed the outcome of the game.
