Optimistically I’m going to hope the Flames rally for BSD & Zag, have their best period of the year, and start a winning streak. Maybe Gawdin getting more ice time can provide some spark up the middle of the ice.

What does it take to get an inexperienced basement bargain coach fired? Ward has taken the Flames from a league leader in puck possession to a bottom feeder, in spite of a huge upgrade in goaltending. If Ward can’t see that what he’s doing isn’t working, he’s not fit to coach in the NHL, and if Treliving can’t see that, it’s time for him to go, too.

Ooof, I wouldn't expect a spark from Gawdin. He's playing suuuper safe.

I'm keen to see what Zags has, maybe a chance to dangle Ritter to get some trades done.
