Absolutely, but it still sucks that they can't hit their way out of a wet paper bag against some pretty mediocre at best pitching. They K'd 12 times today.

Springer coming into the lineup really solidifies things.
The hitting will come.
Our pitching has looked good, minus the obvious.
Semien has solidified a lot of our infield defense as well.
I like how Buck mentioned that guys don't hit much in spring anymore because it underscores that a lot of our hitters are still working on their timing. We have a young team that is still getting used to MLB life. Growing pains are still going to be inevitable.
Anyways 3-3 after a series against the Yankees and the Rangers. Took a different path than I initially expected but not bad.

I'm sure it will. Not sure when Springer is coming back after the setback he suffered though. Hoping everything on the MRI looks ok.

Painful to watch at the plate today.
So disappointed that Springer has another injury.

I think they've looked pretty good considering their big fish hasn't even made an appearance yet. These guys are still developing and consistency is what separates the good teams from the elite. They're on track to get there but I don't beleive Montoya should be at the wheel for this.
Maybe as a Flames fan I just have PTSD and see too much Geoff Ward in this situation for the young core to get to that elite level.

That sound that came off Slim Daddy Vladdy’s bat is going to haunt that pitcher for years. What a missile.

Vlad saves Striplings ass there.
Stripling won't be going very deep he's been pretty brutal.

Vladdy with a great play at 1B!
Stripling getting roughed up so far. If it wasnt for the gloves the score might be ugly.
