My BestBuy order has jumped back to Nov 16th, and says it was picked up Richmond BC this morning last night. So perhaps some folks in Vancouver/BC, otherwise I’d say no one with Canada Post is getting it on release day.

But I’m just guessing.

You can see your order info online? Every time I click the order I just get this nice error dialog.



Bestbuy chat support guys keep on saying the order is on time.

Bingo. 6:55 last night as well. I’m not holding my breath. I’m out of town Thur/Fri this week, so if they attempt delivery before Monday I might get lucky and be able to pick up from the post office Saturday afternoon.

I haven’t tried through BestBuys site, I just popped the Canada Post number into my Ship app which I can then click to Canada Post’s site, which seems to be working.

For some more context on how quickly Canada post is moving parcels, my expandable memory's trip so far:

Processed in Richmond, BC @ 11:30pm Nov 8
Departed Richmond, BC @ 5:57am Nov 9 >
Arrived in Calgary @ 11:36 pm Nov 9 and was processed today @ 6:59 am with an expected delivery date of Thursday Nov 12.

Series X's journey so far:
Processed in Richmond, BC @ 1:20am Nov 10
Item in transit Richmond, BC @ 3:42am Nov 10 >

Hoping for miracle delivery Thursday but expecting Friday or Monday

Looks like the Series X is pretty easy to get. Still stock 15 minutes after they went live.

Hoping it'll be the same with the PS5.

The bundles seem to help - makes it easier to buy (especially if you want the extra controllers).

Still all there after 45 minutes. Get them now so you don't feel any need to drive around or lineup in the cold or contagious crowds.

If anyone is interested I have an X (with controller) that will be coming around Nov 20 that I no longer require as my wife surprised me for my birthday. Total with tax came to $708.67.

Is everyone that pre-ordered at Best buy getting a shipping tracking number? My card was charged and the order page says "in progress" by Canada Post with an arrival date of the 12th but I can't see any tracking info.

Xbox One X from FedEx is in Calgary and could come today but still scheduled for Thursday.

Amazon PS5 order is still up in the air. They have "received my order". I'm guessing that Thursday will be an exercise in finding a retailer that will have availability....Shoppers and London Drugs are my targets.
