Has anyone split tickets in the past? How easy was it to transfer them?
I'm splitting a couple tickets with another CP user. Transferring tickets is quite simple from the ticket manager web page. You just select what tickets you want to transfer and then enter the recipient's email address.

The Cavalry are up by three!
I'll kiss my girl again!
F*** you Edmonton!

Anyone interested in splitting a family four pack of tickets? I'm thinking about getting one, and would love split off a portion of the season (a third, half, whatever). They're $1100 for 4 season seats. Send me a PM if that's of interest - my kids really enjoyed going last year but a full season is just more games than I want to commit to.

What does the family pack entail? Choice of sections (stuck in the calmer areas or can you be closer to the South end)? Does the adult to child ratio have to be 2:2?
The Cavalry site is down right now, the cached version on Google says you have to call the office for family packs anyway, etc. so I did try and find the info myself. Not sure I'd be able to commit to a split though - just curious about the details.

No problem! I called them. The family pack is 4 tickets, section 101 only, so farthest from supporters section in the grandstand/covered section. Biggest perk (imo) is the pricing, which is way less. The rep didn't ask anything about ages, I think any ratio is fine (including 4 adults). Biggest downside is alcohol free section.

Cavalry and Bruno Zebie getting a little mainstream media today. Just posting the quote below for banter purposes against Edmonton...
Quote:
“I went to Edmonton — I have a brother there and some childhood friends there,” Zebie said. “It was a matter of playing with my (older) brother (Allan) on the same team for one year and saying ‘I’ve done that in my career.’ But I knew in the back of my head I only wanted to be there for only one year and then try something different.
“Fortunately for me, Tommy saw that I was doing very well and playing all over the field. So we connected, and I didn’t hesitate. It was just a phone call, and within a couple of seconds, I was saying, ‘Yeah . . . I’m in.”
New signing coming in tomorrow. The rumour going around is that it is Robert Boskovic coming on loan from Toronto FC II. 21 year old CB who's played parts of 5 years in USL, and played last year in Ottawa.
Would be a great fit for all parties. Boskovic gets a season at a higher level than Toronto FC II plays in, which benefits him and TFC. Cavalry get a U21 who happens to have a tonne of experience at his age level.

Looks like shermanator's wizard powers were right.
People here shouldn't trust anything from Thomas Nef. He's banned from at least one CPL venue and is being blackballed around the league for the way he gets his leaks. He's been harassing our group to the point where we had to block him on all social media.
He does happen to get a lot of his leaks correct, and this one is likely one of them. He's also gotten quite a few wrong, but he either deletes those leaks, or argues that he actually got them correct.
Fair enough. I know he doesn't have a great rep, but he's often reliable with his information. I'll be more cautious posting a tweet from him going forward.
I’m really worried about the effects of COVID on the CPL. You have a league looking to enter its second season and build some momentum, and a year off could be tough to recover from.

As much as I have been excited for this season, I think it's very likely the season will at least be postponed. In that case, I hope a shortened season is still possible.

I'm worried about this as well. Think it would be pretty likely some games are cancelled, given how other leagues are responding.

New update from today. League is suspending all training camps for the next 14 days. No updates on whether games will be re-scheduled or postponed yet, but those may come.
