Again not pining for Hartley but that team's identity was hard working. The mountain climbers in practice, the way they skated especially in the third.

I don't know how to describe this team...they try to play precise and it seems there isn't that emotional push or that max effort, quick strike side of their game.

Daryl's teams hated to lose. You saw that especially with Iggy in 2004 playoffs, if that team was about to lose he fought someone.

When you hate to lose, there's a different energy, maybe playing angry, not sure how to describe it. But its just a different.

This is precisely why it's imperative that the personalities are always better if they have played in the pros and more specifically the NHL. If just doing interviews then that's not needed. However if your an intermission analyst or a colour analyst on the play by play this is a must. Give Sarich some more airtime and then transition him to be the backup to Hrudey for the Flames broadcasts, as a colour commentator.
