So strange watching him in net. He is 6'6 but stringy like a bean. Very cool to see him in net. Happy for him to get a win.
Also, Hrudey's commentary couldn't be better. Insightful.

I suspect Gillies is the biggest goaltender to don the flaming C.
Henrik Karlsson was the same height, but hockeydb tells me Gillies outweighs him by about 10 lbs.

So if Anaheim loses their last game vs the Kings, and the Oilers win tonight, plus their last two against the Canucks - then they could still finish first in the Pacific based on ROW's.
So if the Flames beat the Sharks on Sat, then there is still the possibility of meeting the Oilers in Round 1. Guess it depends on if the Oil rest McSaviour and Talbot in any of the last two games.
