I just don't understand why the media feels the need to pump the Oilers tires more than any other team. It makes no sense. It's like listening to someone try to convince people the Earth is flat.

Whenever I watch the Oilers it always amazes me how poor they are offensively given how many high first round picks they have. Truly embarrassing.

Agreed. It's not like hasn't lined up on the right side 5v5 as well. Lucic has as well. Ovechkin was a LW'er his whole career up until recently, now he's a RW.

Plenty of wingers can play both sides, and yeah - Johnny has already proven to be dangerous on his off-wing.
