Anyone else miss Iginla right now?
On Be a GM mode in NHL 16 I packaged Raymond and Jooris for Iginla.

Really? On the first one, the net was clearly off before the puck fully crossed the line, so I'd disagree.
And on the second one you can also clearly hear the whistle before the Calgary stick even goes under the pad to push it in.
Seemed pretty obvious no goals to me.

Gio-Wideman is just not a good pairing. It wasn't three years ago, it wasn't two years ago, it wasn't a year ago, it's not now.

Iggy is still the man. Having a great start to this season. Closing in on 600 and lost lots of goals due to lockout too. Incredible.

Those two calls on the no goals were the right ones. No issues what so ever with the results there.
How bad is it when you just know, in the bottom of your gut, that the Flames are going to have to score at minimun 5 goals for a chance to win? Defense, goaltending, it doesn't matter. It's garbage however you want to break it down. This rests on Brad Treliving IMO. Needs to make the moves according to the teams failures.

He hasn't been bad, but an excellent goalie definitely does not let that 3rd goal in. They just don't.

russel has been playing immediately better since being moved away from wideman. now we got gio continuing to struggle with this guy.
i'd like to see hartley send some messages. let's try benching the guy this 3rd period.

Gio has not been great this year but, I can understand why. It's litterally a medical marvel he can even still play at all after the ahowed the procedure he had to go through . That doctor had explained it is amazing that he didn't have to retire after that injury.
I think Gio is not ready for number one duties yet. Everyone this year who has played with him has been demoted to lower pairings . Maynlbe Its him that is the problem???? I know he COULD have won the Norris last year but that injury was essentially having your arm amputated but having the bone and skin remain.

Should I ever return to Calgary to catch a game, I'll be rocking a "Come Home, Jarome" sign, for sure.
When's he UFA next?

The summer of 2017 where we shed quite a lot of our dead-weight contracts. Lines up well.

I'm enjoying the Bennett/Gaudreau show but pissed at our luck.
Sam is starting to show some real game-breaking ability.
