Brodie = Flames MVP.
Gaudreau may be the best player but Brodie is the straw that stirs the drink. Amazing.

It would be the greatest thing ever to see the flames beat this damn game into the ground in the third. Make it so.

I think my brain just stroked off for a while. Flames taking a lead after a 2nd period? A 2 goal lead at that?

We're back in the world of "foot in the crease". Everyone will be checking the crease every time there's a goal!

Why on earth should any contact with the goalie be allowed when he is completely inside the crease?
Why even have a crease?

Some of you guys are talking about Brodie like he's a top 10 defender in the league, he isn't.
He's better.
I remember thinking he wasn't that good at one point. Wow. He's the real deal. Probably the most under rated guy in the league.

Brodie > Giordano > Hamilton
Whomever Brodie plays will looks quite a bit better.
Monahan might not get his money unless he ups his intensity.

Agreed. The simple solution is make sure you don't touch the goalie.

Overall I'd say the Flames are playing much better tonight. Yea, it's only the Oilers, but at least we're winning. The only reason the Oil is even in this game is because they've been on the PP for most of the game. If the Flames keep up this effort level in the 3rd, they should be able to get the W. Make it happen, boys!

Really, really want the flames to score two more goals early in the third so they can start taking the lumber to McDavid, RNH, and hall... need some revenge for the slashes to Johnny's hands.

Seeing those goal reversal replays again, I think it's a good call. Ramo got pushed backwards by the Oiler's hands, an intentional act by the Oiler.
Definitely prevented Ramo from having a chance to save.

I don't agree with the panel. I like having video review. If they get the calls right I'm not sure what the problem is. Especially tonight, with some of the calls we've seen, can you really trust these refs to make the right call at an important time? I don' think so.

Big period. Gotta shut things down, starting with the PK.
Win the period, win the game. Lets get 'er done.

So that was the first review I'd seen in person, and decided to look at some others and alot of them are that ticky-tacky.
I don't like it.
