Will be interesting to see how Bob manages the bench this game. Seems like the top line is starting to come around, too... Interesting timing on that

Now there you go. Kesler with a firm hook on Johnny. No call. There is the consistency we want. Right?

Sorry, but condemning him for a couple of calls is idiotic.
especially when one of the calls was for doing exactly what he should be doing

Warrior or not it's his lazy, boneheaded plays that have cost the Flames 2 leads in 2 games in a playoff series. He should be stapled to the bench for Bennett at this point.

He has played well, but there's also no denying he has cost the team a few times. But really this is high pressure and his first nhl playoffs.

He has to play smarter though. You can be a warrior all you want, but if you take costly penalties that hurt your team it is pointless.

Really wish they'd stop showing footage of the last time we won at Honda Center. I feel like it just adds to the jinx.

That isn't even approaching close to an accurate evaluation of the penalties.

Colborne has been an incredibly effective player in the offensive zone, making plays happen with his strength, size, and reach. Apart from Jones I would argue he has been the Flames' most consistent forward in the playoffs.

Assessing it any different is zeroing in on a couple of penalties and ignoring his larger body of work for selfish, argument's sake.

Gaudreau has had his share of mistakes too...part of young guys playing in this pressure for the first time, especially prominent roles as these two have been.

Its all good and part of the learning process.
