Lance Bouma injury was a blessing in disguise. I think Ferland would have been in rotation for healthy scratches if Bouma didn't get injured. Hartley tried him out on Stajan and Jones and connected right away. This series pretty much solidify his spot in the 2015-16 Calgary Flames roster. That goes for Sam Bennett too. I wish whenever the young guys gets an opportunity, they take the challenge and run with it.

Clean slate with Anaheim. The past is forgotten and they start from scratch. I think Hartley will stay with Jonas Hiller as a starting goaltender even though Karri Ramo played well in his relief. Hiller played very well in this series except for Game 2 and he was okay on Game 5. Hartley made a switch tonight not because Hiller was playing poorly. He followed his gut instinct and hoping that the goalie switch will change the game and he was right. The game would have been different if the Ferland did not score in the first period. I am sure a lot of people/media will look at Flames record vs Ducks at Honda Centre and just say Flames do not have a chance to advance the 2nd round. I have no problem with that because Flames just keep proving everyone wrong anyways. I'll be happy with at least a win on the road and Flames do the same thing like the 1st round..win-lost-win-win-win...win in game 5 or 6.

TSN just mentioned that when it was tied 3-3 Aaron Ward turned to the panel and said "This one ends 7-4 Flames"

McGrattan had a huge impact on both Monahan and Ferland (especially regarding his recovery). He may not have been a Flame this year basically, but he really helped in the maturity of some key young kids.

Still rocking my McGrattan jersey. I hate superstitions, but was wearing it when Johnny said we're making playoffs, when we beat LA, and every win in the Van series. So far it's 3-0 in the Dome in recent history.

Love that guy.

When it was 3-1 I knew they were going to win. What a game, and what a special group.

Can't wait for round 2!

Who would have thought that Aaron Ward would be the next Oracle of frick'n Delphi when it comes to hockey? He is going to be well coifed for a while.

I live and work in Vancouver and said this at work tonight! No one understood. I explained the years of complaining we did as Fans. That goal was worth it.

When will I learn? This team is just so inspiring. I gave up on them when they were down 4-0 to Ottawa a few weeks back, turned off the TV, and later found out they lost in a shoot out.

Tonite, I was so pissed off when they went down 3-0 that I threatened to turn off the TV before it ruined the rest of my Saturday.

I'm not worthy

3 goals that I'll never forget this year. Empty netter against LA that insured the playoff spot, Russell's winner in game 1 and Stajan's goal tonight

Congrats guys. When you play like the Canucks did, you don't deserve to win a series.

I'm quite content with the fact that Game 3 was the only blight I experienced. You guys were all awesome during Game 4 and 6. No complaints and a lot of cheerful banter.

Good luck against Anaheim. Kill Kesler.
