It was a bad pairing from day 1. Two slow physical guys don't make for a good match these days IMO. I'd bet Diaz and Smid would look a bit better.

Lots of complaining on this board. We're getting heavily outshot on the road by the defending stanley cup champions and it's still a tied game. I'd say thats positive.

And the Kings fat legs getting in the way of probably another 5-10 shots.

This period it's been a penalty parade one way, but otherwise the Flames haven't been that terrible.

I noticed that as well. It's amazing the amount of crap the Kings get away with. They're basically the Detroit Red Wings of the western conference.

The Engelland/Smid pairing is scary. Seriously need an upgrade in the 5/6 slots.
