I will wait for Bingo to bring him up, a few guys to comment, and then on gameday I will post how I think Reinhart is vanilla and doesn't bring anything to the team. In this case, I will have to lie though, since I absolutely love Reinhart and I am quite shocked at how his season is doing, unfortunately.

I think he misses playing alongside Granlund. They had great chemistry.

Just got notice of a retroactive transaction by the Adirondack Flames.
Taylor Vause was released from his PTO on December 24th. He was signed to a Standard Player Contract (AHL Contract) on the same day.
Congrats to Taylor! Guess he's sticking around for awhile.

Not sure where to mention this, but I just watched Chad Billins get his first goal in the Swedish league. Some of you might remember him. His third game here and he definitely looks like a solid defender for any team in the Swedish league.

Is the swedish league considered about on par with the AHL? A bit better or worse?

I think worse, the AHL is underrated IMO.

Have you seen Adam Ollas Mattsson play at all this year?
I'm curious about him... Hoping that he can be a late round gem for the Flames.

Backlund has been activated off IR. Expect Granlund to be sent to Addy.

Like I put in the other thread, could also be Potter.
It sounded like the Flames were prepared to make a "tough decision" about McGrattan and my guess would be that Granlund stays while McGrattan goes and Potter gets sent down.

Hopefully this is a move that gets Reinhart going. I'm sure he's a happy camper today getting Markus back. They have some insane chemistry together.

Potter was re-assigned because Smid has been activated too.

I like that they're getting Granlund and Potter back just in time for OKC. Should be a nice shot in the arm for them going against the first place team.

I guess we might be watching for an Ortio call up here. Ramo appeared to be injured in a collision with Diaz in the 2nd period and left the game.
If Ortio is called up, look for Adirondack to call up Carr. He is currently under contract to the AHL Flames and playing for the Eagles in the ECHL.

Diana C. Nearhos @dianacnearhos
Ortio is not on the ice this morning. Given Ramo's injury, I'd guess he's on his way to Calgary right now.

Doug Carr will be recalled from Colorado.

Excited for Ortio and Carr. I seriously think Carr can be a gem for this AHL team. Sort of in the same manner that Thiessen is now.

It's funny, one thing I'm not really worried about is goaltending with Ortio being called up. Thiessen has played very well in his backup role and what I saw of Carr last year, I think he's more then capable as well. Our defence seem(ed) to play well in front of both of them so I don't expect to start losing a bunch of games because of the goaltending.

Carr looked good during the training camp so we'll see if that carries over.

He looks to be the top goalie in Colorado right now.
He's 9-9 with a 2.77 GAA and a .881 SV%
December appears to have been his bad month to pull down the numbers as he was 2-5 with a 3.51 GAA and .848 SV%.
January he was 2-1 with a 1.88 GAA and .924 SV% and November he had 3-2 with a 2.17 GAA and .898 SV%.
