He's never going to sign here. Momma's boy will be going back to BC to finish his communications degree and will be either a Flyer or Devil around this time next year. Waste of a pick.
Have two sources telling me that the Flames charter plane is scheduled to leave philly at 9pm eastern today. That may change but as of now that is the schedule
Looks like the flight tracker posted earlier is accurate

OK, it has been 6 years since I told this story, and considering some recent posts, it fits.

I couldn’t recall the course, but when we got there they indicated one hole (the ninth) was closed as there was a film being made. OK, no problem, they gave us a decent discount for the round and it was a really nice course. So Dad and I were early in our round on a long par five. I hit a good drive, but my second shot went up and over the trees to the right, short of the green.
As I approached the area, I could hear voices. LOTS of voices.
Turned the corner and there were hundreds of people around a green! But I was up there in two, so I was going to find my ball, dammit! Took a quick look around but couldn’t see it. Then I looked ON their green. There were five balls! I found someone with a clipboard who looked like they could help, pointed out the situation and asked if one was the ball I was playing. Sure enough, one was! (How I didn’t kill anyone is a miracle to me….) So I took my ball, dropped and played on.
Now for years, I didn’t know the movie that was filming there. Didn't think it was anytthing big at all. But during our discussion Friday, my client told me he thought it was Happy Gilmore, filmed at Furry Creek.
That’s the course we were on!!!
So yesterday, I goggled a bit and sure enough, hole 9 is now called the Happy hole (where Adam Sandler and Bob Barker had their fight), and if you look on the scorecard linked below, the par five (hole 4) was the one I was playing.
Mystery solved! Hope you got a chuckle. Wished I realized this before my Dad passed on, as he would have got a kick out of it, but we didn't think it was a big flick being filmed.
Here is the scorecard (for layout to see the 4th and 9th).
This aligns well with sureloss' post, if the flames charter leaves there at 9pm est, that gives an hour spread between the award and the flight leaving to bring back Gaudreau after winning the award
