Look at the Yankees lineup these days. The Jays do have a chance if they get any sort of pitching. It's not like the Jays fire sales it in panic after a bad year. They kept most of the team and walked away from a guy who won't throw an inning this year who would have cost like 14 million. Really their patience and not over paying mediocre free agents has worked out well.

Well the attendance might be down but our Jays thread definitely has a few new faces... so the jays have that.
Cool article on the pursuit of grass at skydome now that they've managed to get rid of the Argos. Too bad TFC got stuck with them but will be cool to see skydome with real grass if it works.

I think Reyes is going to set a new record for watching 3rd strikes blow by him. Love the guy, but it's been a recurring theme all season for him at bat. Swing at it Jose, at least give yourself a chance.

Pitchers duel to start the game to be sure ... 3 hits between the teams through 3 innings. Hutchison's velocity is back up as well.

A seeing eye grounder by Jose and 1-0. Tigers infield messed that up...good thing because Melky popped up when Reyes would've had a SB the previous AB.

Tigers falling apart here in the 9th. Bases loaded, one out. Hope the Jays can cash in for some insurance.
