Someone needs to make a "thug life" gif when he throws his arms up at the guy complaining.

I love the celebration - he scored - he deserves it.

What? Nonsense, thats awesome.
If a goalie scores a goal then cut the dude a break. It almost never happens for them.
Wow, sometimes it amazes me how sensitive some people are. He did the same celebration any player would do when they score a goal, he was significantly more pumped for his meaningless empty-net goal because hes a goalie!
I see this happen in soccer a lot, goalies dont tend to celebrate crazy, fluky goals against another goalie, its professional respect.
"There but for the grace of God, go I."
But an empty netter for a goalie that doesnt embarrass another goalie? Let him have it!

Regardless of his skill level on the ice, it's nice to see a player who enjoys the moments when they come. Let the man celebrate.

Anyone have a gif/video of Reto falling when he tried to play the puck against phoenix in the preseason last year?

It's hilarious that he went for high-fives at the bench. I love it!
I read the headlines and quotes first, so I half expected Reto to do the classic Theo Fleury in OT knee slide or something Yakupov-ish. High fives aren't so offensive. I think we'd all be that pumped to score from there.

One thing about berra, he always had an awesome hilarious personality. Wonder if he is still king of the shootout?

Way to go Berra, there's still a soft spot in my heart for him, I'll never forget that double pad stack skate blade save as long as I live. Now he's got a goal to add to that. Gotta like the guy, even if his 'tending is inconsistent as all heck.

I thought the celebration was kinda tame, wasn't that big of a deal. But I guess when you're losing in your own building you can be a little overly sensitive about those kinds of things. Good for him, I'd high five the bench, too.

If high fiving the bench wasn't a usual (now expected, such as saluting the fans after a win) celebration, then it may be over the top, maybe.
But since any other player who scores does that, I think it's clever and well done. Didn't see any jumping up and down, not sure what that coach was getting at.

Should be concentrating on his own team getting pumped 4-1 rather than an opposing players celebration.

He jumped up when the goal went in. The regular arms up, bounce in the air "Hey, I scored" sort of thing.
By comparison, more subdued then the Hiller attempted liftoff to his home planet bounce a couple months ago after the win.

As someone who doesn't like over the top celebrations on goals, I thought this was completely unremarkable - he jumped up in the air and then high-fived the bench. There's absolutely nothing over the top about that.
In all likelihood, this will have been the only goal he scores in his professional career (and maybe his life). Heaven forbid he should get excited about it!
I can ignore Fraser, but the coach whining after the game was a big fail IMO.

I just wanted him to stick so we'd have a goalie nicknamed Berra-cade.

Fist bumping the bench was pretty funny. His team mates probably got a kick out of it. Who gives a crap what the other team thought.

He'll probably never score another goal. He deserves to celebrate.
