Meh. So what if we lose. We hung in there with the best. Learn from it and grow. I'm proud of the way Flames played tonight. You can't get frustrated with this group it's a learning curve. There's going to be many ups and downs with this team. As a fan you have to accept it. It's going to be a long road but hopefully we can pull through and grow as a team. Hats off to the Flames tonight the effort was there.

Because some things are bigger than hockey.
You must be a blast to be around in real life.

Credit to the bruins for coming out for iggy's laps... When he was originally rumoured to be a bruin before the penguins trade I complained about the lack of class in the bruins organization with guys like marchand and lucic doing their thing. Now this move.... iggy is bringing class to that organization.

Don't lose sight, it's the players that make the team.

Again, somethings are bigger than hockey. It's just a game.

I don't see how cheering for our team to lose against Iginla's new team falls into "bigger than the game". He was cheered, immensely. The Bruins win a lot of games, we don't need to cheer for him to beat us, especially when our guys are out there slugging it out against a WAY better team.
It was embarrassing.

“We feel if we can grind with them a bit, play our game, we have a chance,” said Mark Giordano. “Any time you see a team have the success they’ve had . . . you always want to model yourself after those teams. With Boston . . . they play the right way. They really are one of the best — if not the best — team in the league defensively. They grind it out every night. So we can learn from them.”'
