I'm the biggest glencross guy on cp probably and he's been god awful. this game especially, his complete lack of compete for loose pucks, especially up the boards in the defensive zone really bug me. we sat sven instead of this guy because he's not playing in all 3 zones? glenny is the one who needs a wakeup call, because he's not playing well in ANY zone this year

The optics aren't good, but I know there is a lot that the common fan (like myself) don't see, notice, or pick-up on.
It really isn't the end of the world. It's one game, in one season of a rebuilding year, with a 20-something player that has a long career ahead of him. If being sat for one game before the quarter mark is going to so horribly crush his confidence to the point that his development is completely stifled then I'm not sure that is really the kind of player the organization would want going forward anyway.
And this shouldn't need to be said, but I don't think that at all.
