Whoever it was that said Macklemore "Can't hold us", I think that is a brilliant idea. This song really gets me going.
Enough with all the sh&t meta/rock. You guys realize that the Flames will never choose the likes of Saliva or Avenge Sevenfold. The Dome is a family building and you have ticket holders from all ages and corporate sponsors. Do you really think they are going to play "Backalley" music as their goal song.
Not only is it not suitable for marketing purposes, it's just awful awful music.

This hasn't stopped them from playing Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson, or numerous Rob Zombie songs.

I think it's a stretch to call that one of the best guitar riffs of all time. IMO.
But I didn't say solo, did I?
It's a fantastic riff. One of the best. I will not take it back, cause it's true. If you can't hear that, then you must have poor hearing, or just a horrid taste for music. Besides, old Muse is some of the best prog/alt rock out there.

Or Pantera! If Pantera can be played A7X should be a no brainer. A7X has some great pop/metal tunes like "Scream" and "Afterlife". With their new album being groove driven I bet "Hail the King" and "This Means War" make it to the play list.
I remember seeing a video of Boston's warm-up and they where playing Volbeat. That made me so happy! Hockey is about crushing the other team. You need to make them scared to play in your building. Family friendly is a given, but as a kid I loved hearing the heavier songs! I remember when the Flames would come out to "Renegades Of Funk" for their warm-ups back in 2002-2003. That was the first time I ever herd RATM, I have been a fan ever since!
A friend of mine chimed in on this around the camp fire on the weekend - Celebration by Kool and the gang. That would be perfect and annoy the other team a little as well.
