I believe in the Jays.

It's also hard to tell how much influence BC had on playing time and rotations and things like that. I got really frustrated with Casey at times last year, but he over achieved in his first year and finished the second reasonably well. I was pretty indifferent on if he was brought back or not, so I'm not upset that he's back.

Not a big fan of keeping Casey but eh. Might as well give him a another chance but that call on Gray to double Kobe still sticks in the back of my head.

Bryan Colangelo has stepped down from his position as the President of Team and Business Operations with the Toronto Raptors, and will become a consultant for the team and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment moving forward.

Quote:
The Toronto Raptors have joined the Orlando Magic at the head of the list of known suitors for Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe, according to sources close to the process.
Sources told ESPN.com that the talks between the Raptors and Clippers are still in the exploratory stage, but the Raptors' interest in L.A.'s prized young point guard is said to be significant.
The Raptors have been openly shopping forward Andrea Bargnani for months and would try, sources say, to include Bargnani in any deal for Bledsoe, which wouldn't necessarily dissuade the Clippers, given their longstanding need for a big man who can stretch the floor. But sources add that Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan is the Raptor most likely to tempt the Clippers, which falls in line with L.A.'s interest in Arron Afflalo in their Bledsoe talks with Orlando.
Some rival executives believe that the Raptors are prepared to part with DeRozan -- recipient of a $40 million contract extension last October -- in the wake of Rudy Gay's arrival and the front-office change that ushered out Bryan Colangelo (who authorized DeRozan's new deal) and ushered in Masai Ujiri.

Getting rid of those two for nothing would be great getting a decent guy like Bledsoe would be icing on the cake.
Plus makes it easier to get rid of Lowery as well.

I like Lowry. But I'd really like Bledsoe, and his superior pick-and-roll skills would be a really nice fit alongside Valanciunas and Johnson. Moving Bargnani for Bledsoe would be a ridiculous trade for the Raptors, but even Bargnani + DeRozan for Bledsoe + Butler would be a trade I would go for.

Not surprised that the Knicks are interested. I seem to recall that Bargs has had some of his best games at MSG.
Also sounds like Fields is getting bought out using the stretch provision.

I really liked Fields on the floor, but he was clearly a square peg for casey trying to fill a round hole.
Hope he catches on somewhere

Didn't get approved before the July moratorium. Will need to tweaked for 2013-14 salaries, likely meaning NYK chips in one more salary.

Not really anything of value coming back but at least he is gone.
I don't think Bargnani was as big a problem as others and would rather see a lot of others gone before him but it is a good first step in getting rid of all the deadweight on this team.
