It was a 9:00am game PST this morning. No way was I waking up for that haha.

This offence needs to find something and quick. This is not good.

The goals have dried up. Heat are not scoring. Great game by Barry.

Heat were dominated most of the game, Brust was the only thing keeping it close. 1-0, not much of an offense really.

Scoring has totally dried up, wins drying up now too.

They should call up Mitch Wahl.

He finally seems to have his confidence back and might actually be over the concussion issues that derailed his career.

His offensive touch could not hurt this team.

That explains it haha, I was wondering where your gamethread was, I was actually just thinking the guys on the radio must have been wrong about there being a game today because I hadnt seen a GDT from Pierre.

What are his stats like? Has anybody seen him live this year?

As i have said before i really liked him and it looked like we had a Paul Stastny kind of pick on our hands before the injury. I have a bad feeling that the flames have given up on him. Even if there is a an NHL season, my gut tells me he will not be called up to the AHL.

Mitch Wahl is 5g 24a for 29pts in 22gp +3

I think we should call up Estoclet back up, I thought he had a decent offensive element.

Really starting to miss guys like John Rheault and Clay Wilson this year. Wondering where Olsen, Sylvester et al went.

The Heat were also only playing with 5 defensmen including Tuzzolino in his first game. Lamb and Mccarthy out due to minor injuries and Piskula woke up sick and couldn't play.

Quintin Laing named a captain for the AHL All-star game.

Have to imagine Brust and maybe Brodie to join Laing to represent the Western Conference.

I watched a bit of the first but now got to head out. It seems the people watching these games is slowly getting less and less. I anticipate more will start listening/watching again when Beartshi is healthy again.

Well, I'm watching, I think its the busy holidays more than anything keeping the threads quiet.

Heat have carried the pace, but the shots haven't been scoring chances for the most part. They maybe had 2 chances from what I saw. I would say Griffins had equal chances despite the shot clock.

Yeah, big time. He was completely out of the net. Problem was his own d-man was draped around him too and there was no getting back in the crease.

Heat controlled the whole period. Unfortunate.
