I don't actually think he's a nazi sympathizer btw, just making the clear
think he was either doing a brush of the shoulders thing, or doing it to rile up the chelsea fans (who have been known for their nazi salutes in the past)
but not the smartest gesture to make, regardless of what he meant

Rafael van der Vaart says there is “no chance” that Arsenal will finish above Tottenham this season after Spurs’ sixth win from seven games yesterday.
A 3-1 win over QPR at White Hart Lane took the Lilywhites’ tally to 19 points from a possible 21 in the Premier League.
Spurs’ victory also took them three points clear of Arsenal, with a game in hand. And Van der Vaart, who scored his sixth goal in five games against Neil Warnock’s Rangers, is adamant that Tottenham will finish ahead of their north London rivals.
“Can Arsenal finish above us? No. No chance,” he said. “We’re better. They’ve had some good results recently but we’ve also got six wins and one draw now. I’m not afraid of them. I think we are the better squad, we have a bigger squad. But it’s a long season.”

This is why the English press is widely regarded as the best in the world.

Haha, oh the Nazis. Always rearing their ugly heads where you least expect them.
No mention of the fact that, if, on the off-chance, one were a Nazi sympathizer, its unlikely that they would choose this time and place in front of millions of viewers, to make their allegiance clear.
Just saying.

And quietly theres Newcastle. I really like Newcastle actually, I'm impressed with how well they're doing this season. I had them pegged for a relegation battle but Demba Ba and Leon Best have really brought the goals.

I think they fade a little bit, their schedule get's tough the next month, but at this point I would be surprised if they missed out on a top 8 finish
Cabaye and Tiote are as good a central pairing as there is outside the top 5, if Ben Arfa can regain his pre-injury form they have something special there as well. I really like Santon too
I heard on Football Weekly how they have become the most popular team in France (passing Arsenal) and people love the job Pardieu is doing

Nothing beats Mark Bosnich's salute in front of the Yid Army in 1996. What an idiot.
Chelsea used to be really bad in the 80s especially when they played the Spuds. You would frequently hear references to Auschwitz and they would hiss, which was supposed to mimic the release of gas at extermination camps.
Chelsea have never been accused of being overly classy have they?

- Ferguson will mark his 25 years in charge of Manchester United on Sunday, having taken over at Old Trafford on November 6, 1986
- He has won 836, drawn 326 and lost 247 of his 1,409 matches, scoring 2579 goals and conceding 1262
Ferguson famously set out to "knock Liverpool off their perch", a target he achieved last season when United edged ahead of the Reds by securing their 19th top-flight crown.

Special mention to Howard Wilkinson for helping to kickstart the revival.
Anyways, love him or hate him. The greatest manager in recent memory.

Hes a rather entitled one, isnt he?
In non-EPL news, Kevin-Prince Boateng has retired from international play.
I can hardly wait for the weekend to be over so the United love-in can end.
Its a shame they squeaked out a win against Everton, otherwise they could still be stinging from that 6-1 ass kicking.

The Swansea v Liverpool game was fantastic viewing despite ending 0-0. Back and forth action, lots of great chances, just lots of fun to watch. However they really need to do something about Suarez as the guy is an absolute joke. Should be suspended for all the diving, glad the referee didnt fall for it. And Carroll missed an absolute sitter early on.

Actually Suarez was completely fine today. The only one he really looked for a call was near the end when he went down in the box. Other then that he stayed on his feet through contact, which has been the case with him for a few games in a row. People are just buying into his reputation now and getting on him any chance they get.

Well off the top of my head, the play in the box where he starts flapping his hands looking for penalty for a handball that wasn't there, the play where the defender wins the ball cleanly off him but gets called for the foul and Suarez starts making card hand motions to try to get him sent off. Oh and towards the end when he loses the ball and has a little tiff at the ref. But yeah other than that he was fine.

Mancini is on moaning about too many games and players having injuries. How many players does this chequebook hero need?

It's the 2nd time he has done it, I didn't think he was serious the first time but come on...
their 2nd XI would finish 7th at worst in the league
The only 2 players on the team who have a massive drop off to their 2nd stringers are Kompany and Silva, everyone else can be replaced with someone who is almost as good as the player they are replacing
