Through 3 quarters:
Rodgers: 27 for 31, 330 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 143.3 QB rating. He also has rushed for 1 TD.

To think how far the guy fell in the draft; and then how many years he sat on the bench watch Favre.
I am very happy to see a player like him turn out into a star, when usually a player could become dismayed, and never become anything special.
Green Bay will be in the Super Bowl; that much is almost assured in my opinion. Seattle or Chicago in the Super Bowl could get ugly quick.

I wonder if a team could decline a bye week? It sure as hell doesn't seem to help more often than not.

I didn't mention the CFL, but even though I don't know what you mean by 'weak' I will just say I disagree with you

Flynn should be going out now, no reason to risk injuring Rodgers.

The bye week is just a poor excuse for losers. Atlanta just isn't as good as GB.
Steelers won today and I fully expect Bears and Patsies to win tomorrow so the bye is an advantage if anything.

Agreed, it really becomes a factor if you want to go to the SB too, I think the rest helps injured players not just short, but long term as well.

Now I don't feel so bad about what happened to the Eagles last week.

I was reffering to your signature.
It was a joke based on my personal preference vs yours.
Good work.

Well this was rather enjoyable viewing on a Saturday evening.
This team is absolutely rolling on both sides of the ball. Have to clean up a couple things on ST, but beyond that. Just keep doing what their doing and they will be in Dallas in 3 weeks.
Just awesome.

Well, while Green Bay has been playing for their lives for over a month now, the Falcons have been a playoff bound team for a month, then had the bye week. I don't think it helped them at all; they just looked pretty lackadaisical, while the Packers were energized.
Atlanta did beat the Packers a month or so ago. Green Bay is the better team no question, but Atlanta did have the tools to beat them.

In a way I think this helped Rogers as his development was never rushed. He had years to watch and learn behind a first ballot HOF QB. It's worked out well as IMO he's maybe the 3rd best QB in the league now.
Two straight weeks now an NFC South team has got completely torched defensively. With two weeks to prepare how can a defensive unit play that bad? I wonder if Brian VanGorder's job will be in jeopardy after this debacle? To finish 1st in the conference and lay an egg like this could prompt some change.

Go win it!
Out of the 6 teams remaining, I like GB the best.

Rodgers put up 10 fewer yards passing and rushing than the Ravens and Steelers combined.
Awesome stuff.

I can't see the Bears or ####hawks being much of an obstacle for the Packers the way they are playing.

1a) Brady
1b) Manning
3) Rodgers
4) Roethlisberger (the guy does have two rings)
5) Brees
6) Rivers (Brees and Rivers are interchangeable imo)
I guess I could see it, especially if we wins it all this season.
Packers/Patriots seems to be the only appealing Super Bowl to the masses. Anything else would be mediocre at best. A lot of people who picked a Packers/Patriots Super Bowl before the season will be patting themselves on the back.
Packers/Steelers would be alright, based on the history of the franchises. But, the Patriots would bring in much better ratings, and probably a better game. The Monday nighter they had a month ago was fantastic, and that was without Rogers in the lineup.

Well, extra motivation now for both teams tomorrow...win and host.
Packers rolling, chances are the weather will be questionable in either city next week, which should slow them a bit. But they look good.
Tomorrow, Seahawks have to play error free game, Hasslebeck has to be the smart QB he was last week (but not often over the past few seasons) and stick with the plan that the coaches lay out, even if they are behind.
Carroll has them in the right mindset...when asked earlier in the week if they are overconfident, Carroll said "Did you see our record? We have no reason or right to be over confident about anything".
The odd turnover and special team play will also be needed.
Best thing SEA can do is get ahead early, or at least stick with them early. Then, hope that being behind, or at least sufficiently frustrated, turns Cutler into the Gambling Jay that plays like Hasslebeck often has...force throws and make bad decisions and deviate from the plan his coaches give him, and watch that snowball.
Don't expect a SEA win, but all I hope is that they make Chicago win the game, not lose it by themselves by shooting themselves in the foot over and over.
Nothing to lose for Seattle, so may as well play loose as possible...but as mentioned, that carrot at the end of the stick of hosting a home playoff championship game, if they pull off yet another upset, is certainly in the back of their minds.
Finally, CTV better get its act together and not miss plays coming out of commercials for their second rate shows on future broadcasts, as they did today.

If Rodgers wins this year, he has to be #3.

While that sounds impressive, Atlanta's defense is neither Pittsburgh' nor Baltimore's
